Mercedes Actros/Arocs (with J9P Prep) Adapter Cable

FITTING NOTES

 This adapter cable is for Mercedes vehicles with suitable J9P prep only. Refer to manufacturers’ guidelines

for other models.

 The J9P equipment integrates up to four analogue video cameras on the secondary display. When reverse

gear is engaged, camera 1 can be triggered.

 Each of the four cameras and the reverse trigger must be activated using the Mercedes XENTRY diagnosis

software. All other functions prioritise over camera views. Only camera 1 can be triggered by reverse.

Cameras are unavailable above 8mph.

 Terminals to be inserted into X43 plug (Mercedes P/N: A1685450928) not supplied.

 Terminals to be inserted in appropriate plug housing position (see X43 pin locations table below). Terminals

must ‘click’ in place.

 Failure to insert terminals in correct positions could lead to device failure or damage.

 Brigade accepts no liability for subsequent damage due to incorrect installation.
