Ingebruikname

1. Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een volgens de voorschriften geïnstalleerd

geaard stopcontact, 230 V/50 Hz.

2. Let op dat de sterkte van de zekering voor het stopcontact waarop u het kachel-

tje aansluit, ten minste 10 Ampère bedraagt!

3. Plaats het apparaat op een hittebestendig en vlak werkvlak. Let op een onge-

hinderde luchttoe en –afvoer. De afstand van het luchtinlaat- of het luchtuitlaa-

trooster tot de volgende muur dient minimaal 20 cm te bedragen.

4. De controlelamp brandt wanneer het apparaat is ingeschakeld.

5. Na het gebruik trekt u de stekker uit de contactdoos.

Functieschakelaar

O = UIT = Koele lucht

1 = Warme lucht (1000 W) 2 = Warme lucht (2000 W)

Thermostaat

• Met de temperatuurregelaar stelt u de kamertemperatuur in.

LO = Laagste stand HI = Hoogste stand

• Draai de regelaar van de thermostaat op de hoogste stand. Het controlelampje

brandt.

• Zodra de gewenste kamertemperatuur is bereikt, draait u de regelaar langzaam

terug totdat het apparaat uitschakelt. Door het in- en uitschakelen van het appa-

raat houdt de thermostaat de kamertemperatuur nu constant.

Koude lucht:

Wanneer u het apparaat als ventilator wilt gebruiken, zet u de functieschakelaar

op en draait u de temperatuurregelaar naar de stand HI.

Oververhittingsbeveiliging

Het apparaat is voorzien van een oververhittingsbeveiliging (thermosensor) die het

apparaat bij oververhitting automatisch uitschakelt. Zet de functieschakelaar op “0”

en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. Laat het apparaat ca. 10 minuten afkoelen

voordat u het weer inschakelt.

Wanneer de oververhittingsbeveiliging het apparaat na korte tijd weer uitschakelt, is

er vermoedelijk sprake van een defect. Schakel in dat geval het apparaat weer uit

en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. Laat het apparaat nakijken door een erkende

vakman of door onze technische dienst (of neem contact op met uw handelaar).

Avant la première utilisation

1. Branchez l'appareil uniquement dans une prise de courant de 230 V, 50Hz en

bon état.

2. Assurez-vous que la protection par fusible de la prise de courant que vous

comptez utiliser, soit d’au moins 10 ampères!

3. Placez l’appareil sur une surface plane et résistant à la chaleur. Veillez à ne pas

obstruer l’entrée et la sortie d’air. L’écartement entre la grille d’entrée et de sor-

tie d’air et le mur doit être d’au moins 20 cm de chaque côté.

4. La lampe témoin s’éclaire lorsque l’appareil fonctionne.

5. Débranchez l’appareil après utilisation.

Sélecteur de fonctions

O = ARRET = Air froid

1 = Air chaud (1000 W) 2 = Air chaud (2000 W)

Thermostat

• Vous pouvez régler la température ambiante grâce au thermostat.

LO = Position la plus faible HI = Position la plus forte

• Tournez le thermostat sur la position la plus forte. La lampe témoin s’allume.

• Dès que la température désirée de la pièce est atteinte, tournez le thermostat à

nouveau doucement vers sa position initiale, jusqu’à ce que l’appareil s’arrête.

Si vous allumez et éteignez l’appareil, le thermostat maintient la température

alors atteinte de façon constante.

Fonctionnement à air froid:

Si vous souhaitez utiliser l’appareil comme ventilateur, arrêtez le sélecteur de

fonctions et tournez le thermostat sur la position HI.

Sécurité anti-surchauffe

Cet appareil est équipé d’un dispositif de sécurité anti-surchauffe qui arrête auto-

matiquement l’appareil en cas de surchauffe. Tournez le sélecteur de fonctions sur

la position “0” et débranchez le câble d’alimentation de la prise de courant. Laissez

l’appareil refroidir pendant env. 10 minutes avant de le réutiliser.

Si le dispositif de sécurité anti-surchauffe arrête à nouveau l’appareil après un court

instant, il s’agit probablement d’une panne. Arrêtez alors l’appareil et débranchez-le

de la prise de courant. Faîtes-le alors réparer par un technicien qualifié ou par notre

service après-vente (vous pouvez également contacter votre revendeur).

7. Não utilize este aparelho directamente nas proximidades de uma banheira, de

um duche ou de uma piscina. Não proceda ao seu manuseamento quando se

encontrar dentro da banheiro, do duche ou da piscina. Mantenha uma distância

de segurança de 60 cm.

Primeira utilização

1. Ligar o aparelho apenas a uma tomada de 230 V, 50 Hz, com protecção de

contacto, instalada devidamente.

2. A tomada a que o aparelho for ligado terá de ter, no mínimo, um segurança de

10 amperes!

3. Coloque o aparelho sobre uma superfície plana e resistente ao calor.

Certifique-se de que o ar entra e sai do aparelho sem quaisquer obstáculos. A

grelha para entrada e saída do ar deverá ficar a uma distância de, no mínimo,

20 cm da parede mais próxima.

4. A lâmpada de controlo iluminar-se-á quando o aparelho estiver a funcionar.

5. Depois de se utilizar o aparelho, retirar a ficha da tomada.

Selector de funções

O = Desligado = Ar frio

1 = Ar quente (1000 W) 2 = Ar quente (2000 W)

Termostato

• O regulador da temperatura serve para seleccionar a temperatura ambiente.

LO = Escalão mínimo HI = Escalão máximo

• Girar o regulador do termostato para o escalão máximo. A lâmpada de controle

iluminar-se-á.

• Logo que tenha sido atingida a temperatura-ambiente desejada, girar lenta-

mente o regulador do termostato para trás, até o aparelho se desligar.

O termostato manterá a temperatura-ambiente que foi regulada, ligando e des-

ligando o aparelho sempre que seja necessário.

Funcionamento de ar frio:

Se desejar utilizar o aparelho como ventilador, coloque o selector de funções

para e gire o selector da temperatura para a posição HI.

Protecção contra sobreaquecimento

O aparelho está equipado com um dispositivo de protecção contra sobreaqueci-

mento que o desliga automaticamente quando necessário. Em tal caso, colocar o

selector de funções na posição „0“ e retirar a ficha da tomada. Deixar o aparelho

arrefecer durante cerca de 10 minutos, antes de se tornar a utilizá-lo.

General Safety Instructions

• Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into ope-

ration and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possi-

ble, the box with the internal packing.

• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged pur-

pose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except

if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct

sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the

appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediate-

ly. Do not put it in water.

• When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out

the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not

being used and remove the attached accessories.

• Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the work-

place, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull

the plug itself, not the lead).

• To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure

that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appli-

ance.

• Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use

the appliance if it is damaged.

• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized

technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable be

replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by a qualified

person and with a cable of the same type.

• Use only original spare parts.

• Pay careful attention to the following “Special Safety Instructions“.

Special safety notes for this unit

1. Keep a 1 metre safety distance to easily inflammable objects such as furniture,

curtains etc.

2. Place the unit on a flat and heat-resistant surface.

3. The fan heater must not be operated directly under a mains power socket.

4. Allow the unit to cool down before you put it away.

5. Do not put any objects into the unit.

6. Do not cover the device or place any objects on it.

Danger of overheating!

7. Do not use this heater in the direct vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool.

Never operate the heater when you are in any of the above. Keep a safety

distance of 60 centimetres.

Initial Operation

1. Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety socket, 230 V/50 Hz.

2. Make sure that the degree of protection of the socket to which the device is

connected is of at least 10 ampere!

3. Place the device on any heat-resistant flat surface. Ensure that air can enter

and leave unhindered. The distance from the air inlet and outlet grill to the

nearest wall should be at least 20 centimetres.

4. The indicator light lights up when the unit is in operation.

5. After use, pull the plug out of the socket.

Function Switch

O = OFF = Cold air

1 = Hot air (1000 W) 2 = Hot air (2000 W)

Thermostat

• You can set the room temperature with the temperature control.

LO = Lowest level HI = Highest level

• Turn the thermostat control knob to the highest level. The LED will light up.

• Once the desired room temperature is reached, turn the thermostat control

knob slowly back until the device shuts off. The thermostat maintains the set

room temperature by switching the device on and off.

Cold air operation:

If you would like to use the machine as a ventilator, move the function switch to

and turn the temperature regulator to the HI position.

Overheating Protection

The device is equipped with an overheating protection that switches the device

automatically off in case of overheating. Shift the function switch to „0“ position and

pull out plug out of the socket. Let the device cool down for about 10 minutes before

using it again.

Should the overheating protection shut the device off again shortly after, there is

probably a defect. Switch off the device again and pull out the plug. Let the device

be checked by an authorized dealer or by our customer service (or contact your

dealer).

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Before cleaning the machine you should always remove the mains lead and

wait until the machine has cooled down. The machine should only be cleaned

with a slightly damp cloth.

2. Do not use any strong detergents or solvents for cleaning.

This device has been tested according to all relevant current CE guidelines,

such as electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage directives, and has been

constructed in accordance with the latest safety regulations.

Subject to technical changes without prior notice!

Guarantee

The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting

on the date of purchase (receipt).

During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories *) ascriba-

ble to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repai-

ring or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an

extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new

guarantee!

Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of

purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.

If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine

in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.

*) Damage to accessories does not mean automatic free replacement of the whole

machine. In such cases please contact our hotline. Broken glass or breakage of

plastic parts are always subject to a charge.

Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing (e.g. motor pistons, kneading

blades, drive shafts, spare remote control, spare toothbrushes, saw blades, etc.) as

well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by

the guarantee and hence are to be paid!

The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.

After the expiry of the guarantee

After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or

repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.

Uvedení do provozu

1. Přístroj zapněte jenom do zásuvky o 230 V / 50 Hz, s ochranním kontaktem,

instalované podle předpisů.

2. Dbejte na to, aby jištění zásuvky, na které chcete zařízení provozovat, bylo

minimálně 10 A.

3. Postavte přístroj na rovnou, tepelně odolnou plochu. Dbejte na to, aby

přívod a odvod vzduchu nebyl ničím omezován. Vzdálenost mřížky nasávání,

resp. výstupu vzduchu od stěny by měla vždy činit minimálně 20 cm.

4. Je-li přístroj v provozu, svítí kontrolní svítilna.

5. Po použití vždy vytáhněte zástrčku ze zásuvky.

Funkční vypínač

O = VYPNUTO = Chladný vzduch

1= Teplý vzduch (1000 W) 2= Teplý vzduch (2000 W)

Termostat

• Pomocí regulátoru teploty můžete nastavit požadovanou teplotu v místnosti.

LO = nejnižší stupeň HI = nejvyšší stupeň

• Otočte regulátor termostatu na nejvyšší stupeň. Kontrolní světlo svítí.

• Po dosažení požadované teploty prostoru otáčejte regulátor k termostatu

pomalu zpět, až se zařízení vypne. Termostat nyní udržuje zapínáním a

vypínáním zařízení nastavenou prostorovou teplotu.

Provoz s dodávkou studeného vzduchu:

Chcete-li přístroj používat jako ventilátor, nastavte přepínač funkcí a

regulátor teploty otočte do polohy “HI”.

Ochrana proti přehřátí

Zařízení je vybaveno ochranou proti přehřátí, která při přehřátí zařízení automa-

ticky vypne. Přepněte funkční spínač na polohu "0" a vytáhněte vidlici ze zásu-

vky. Nechte zařízení přibl. 10 minut vychladnout dříve, než je opět uvedete do

provozu.

Pokud by ochrana proti přehřátí po krátké době opět zařízení vypnula, jedná se

pravděpodobně o defekt. Vypněte opět zařízení a odpojte ho od sítě. Nechte

zařízení zkontrolovat autorizovaným prodejcem nebo našim zákaznickým servi-

sem (resp. obraťte se na Vašeho prodejce).
