1. ERRO R MESSAGES IN LOG FILE OF
DP-2000/DP-1500: “CLO READ STATUS
FAILED”
1.1 General
Phenom enon
Error messages in log le: “CLO Read Status Failed”, about 3 times per h our.
Communication to CLO is OK: C orrect light output is displayed in the ‘Light output/cal-
ibration’ menu of the communicator. Software version is read correctly in the Version
info page of communicator.
Cause
CLO mode parameter is not initialized (parameter that denes if projector is in normal
mode or CLO mode).
The CLO process (software process, not hardware related) is requesting this parameters
from the main program. Since this parameter is not set, it will genera
te an error.
Field solutio n
Set the projector to CLO mode and back to normal mode. This will set the value of the CLO
mode parameter and solve the issue.
Final solution
Solved in version 1.3.x onwards, scheduled for October 2008.
Scope
All DP-2000 and DP-1500 projectors with software version 1.2.47. Extra logging from the
CLO was added.
