1.1 Safety instructions
Danger of electric shock
Before any work, switch off the mains supply to
the domestic hot water tank.
Danger
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, senso
ry or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given su
pervision or instruction concerning use of the ap
pliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
1.2
Recommendations
Have the installation regularly serviced to guarantee
that it operates correctly over time.
It is essential to check the magnesium anode in the
DHW tank and the installation and heat transporting flu
id pressure every two years.
Caution
Never turn the power off to the solar control sys
tem even for extended absences. The control
system protects the installation from overheating
when it is operating in the summer.
During extended absences, we recommend lowering
the set point temperature in the solar DHW tank to
45°C. When the user is present, the set point must be
set to 60°C.
Caution
Never drain the system. Never replace or add wa
ter or solar fluid to the installation. These actions
must be carried out by a qualified technician.
Caution
Do not modify the control system parameters un
less fully conversant with them.

Once the DHW tank has been connected to the mains, the unit is man
aged from the boiler control panel. When in use, no direct action is needed
on the DHW tank.
5.2 Frost protection
Warning
Do not switch off the power supply.
Frost protection is guaranteed.
5.3 Shutting down the solar control system
Caution
Do not shut down power to the control system or drain the heat-

magnesium anode must be checked by a qualified professional at
least every 2 years.
6.5 Inspection and maintenance of the solar circuit
Important
We recommend that you take out a maintenance contract provid
ing for an annual or biannual check of the fluid level, the frost pro
tection, the pressure of the installation and the expansion vessel,
its tightness and its general running.
6.6
Solar control system
The solar control system is governed by the boiler control system.
All parameters and settings on the solar control system are managed from
the boiler control panel.
