Scope:
Ceiling fans with Radio Frequency (RF) remote controls in multi-unit and hospitality
applications –
Potential issues:
If more than sixteen (16) fans are installed at one location – our sixteen (16) code dip-switch
receivers (see image below) will likely have interference issues. Meaning, the transmitters
will control more than one ceiling fan at a time. The potential for severe issues is great in
apartments, hotels, condominiums, and the like.
If your installation has sixteen (16) fans or less, please follow the fans owner’s manual “How to
Wire Your Ceiling Fan” section – to set the codes properly.

Resolution:
Before quoting or selling more than sixteen (16) units that use an RF remote, please strongly
consider this issue and consult with [email protected] or T[email protected].
Alternatives may exist for various Fanimation ceiling fans.
