SVYD18PR Remote-Ready Gas Log Heaters (Burner System For Cast Iron Stoves)

STOVE CAVITY ASSEMBLY
1. Assemble the cast iron stove as shown in Stove Cavity Assembly
in the owner’s manual. Disregard the steps for attaching stove bot-
tom, installing gas log heater, and fastening back panel.
2. Remove packing inserts, parts, and hardware for this kit from box.
3. Using the four metal screws from the hardware kit, attach gas log
heater to pan as shown in Figure 1.
4. Using the two 3/4" bolts and two flat washers, attach gas log heater
and pan to inside chamber of cast iron stove as shown in Figure 1.

INSTALLING GAS LOG INTO STOVE
1. Remove log from carton.
2. Remove all protective packaging applied to log for shipment.
3. Check log for any shipping damage. If damaged (pieces larger
than the size of a dime), promptly inform dealer where you bought
heater.
4. Set one-piece log on heater base as shown in Figure 2. Make sure
middle section at bottom of log is seated into "U" shaped cutout in
center of heater base. Log will fit securely on base.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure log does not cover any burner ports
and does not touch the stove cavity (see Figure 3).
5. Fasten back panel from retro fit kit to stove with four flat washers
and 1/2" bolts from hardware kit.

6. Place freestanding stove in desired position in room. Be sure to
maintain clearances to combustibles as outlined in the owner’s
manual.
7. Continue installation as shown in owner’s manual, Connecting to
Gas Supply.
