INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE LEFT WITH THE OWNER FOR FUTURE REFERENCE AFTER INSTALLATION.
TOOLS NEEDED:
• 3/8" Open-end wrench
• 7/16" Open-end wrench
• 9/16" Open end wrench
• 1/4" Hex driver
• 5/16" hex driver
• Phillips screw driver
• Adjustable wrench

4. Usinganadjustablewrench,removethe1/2"Flare
Elbow(G)fromthenippleonthesideoftheburner.
Keepthisforlater.
5. Usinga5/16"hexdriver,removethethree#10screws
(H),NippleWeldment(F),3/8"NPTUnion(E),and
TubeConnector(D).
6. Un-screwtheOriceFittingElbow(A)fromtheVenturi
AirShutter.RemovetheoricefromtheFittingElbow.
DiscardtheoricebutKEEPTHEFITTINGELBOW
FORLATER.

Table 2and,usinga3/8"wrench,installitintothe
OriceFittingElbow(A)retainedfromthedisassembly
sequence.DONOTuseanincorrectorice.
2. InstalltheOriceFittingElboww/Oricebackintothe
VenturiAirShutter,pointingrearwards.
3. Usinga9/16"wrench,attachtheMillivoltTubeAssembly
(C)totheMVValve(H)asshowninFigure 4.
4. FeedtheTubeAssemblythroughthefront-mosthole
intheburnerlegasshowninFigure 4.
5. AttachtheValveBracket(G)totheburnerlegusing
a5/16"hexdriverandthree#10x1/2"Screws(E)as
showninFigures 3 and 4.
6. AttachoppositeendofTubeAssembly(C)tothe
OriceFittingElbow(A)usinga9/16”wrench.
7. Usinga1/4"hexdriverandtwo#8x3/8"Screws(D),
attachthePilot(F)totheburnerbaseasshownin
Figure 3.
8. AttachthePilotSupplyLinetotheValve(H)using
a7/16"wrench,(removebrassttingfromvalve(H)
beforeattachingPilotSupplyLine).See Figure 5.
9. NeatlyroutePilotSupplyLinesoitwillnotinterfere
withtheFiberHeatSink.
10. RemovethetoggleswitchfromtheValveBracket(G)to
gainaccesstotheterminalsonthefrontofthevalve.
11. UsingaPhillipsscrewdriver,attachtheredandwhite
PilotleadstothevalveterminalsasshowninFigure 5.
12. UsingaPhillipsscrewdriver,attachtheblackswitch
leadstothevalveterminalsasshowninFigure 5.
13. Re-attachtheswitchtotheValveBracket(G).
14. Attachthelightinginstructionplatetotheburnerleg
usingtheincludedlengthofchain.
15. Returnburnerassemblytoreplace.
16. ConnectgaslinetoBrassFlareElbowontopoftheValve.
17. Compoundsusedonthreadedjointsofgaspiping
shallberesistanttotheactionofliqueedpetroleum
gases.Thegaslinesmustbecheckedforleaksbythe
installer.Testingforleaksonallexposedconnections
shouldbedonewithleaktestsolutionorasoap
solution.Aftertestingiscomplete,allsolutionshould
becleanedoff.Onunexposedconnections,apressure
testshouldbemade.Neveruseanexposedflameto
checkforleaks.Burnermustbedisconnectedfrom
pipingatinletofcontrolvalveandpipecappedor
pluggedforpressuretest.Neverpressuretestwith
replaceconnected;controlvalvewillsustaindamage!
