SYSTEM CONTROLS
This system uses these controls along with a variety of touch-
screen controls to operate the audio, disc and navigation
systems. Consult your Navigation Owner’s Manual for detailed
instructions and other functions.
Eject/Tilt screen
Eject the disc and tilt
screen setting.
Volume
Press to adjust the volume.
MUTE/PHONE
Lower the volume by 20
dB instantly. Press and hold
for 2 seconds to display the
Telephone Menu screen.
NOTE: The sound does not
completely mute.
SOURCE
Turn the power on. Press
and hold for 3 seconds to
turn the power off.
Recall the SOURCE
selection screen.
AUDIO
Press for the Audio screen.
MAP
Press for the Navigation
Map screen.
NAVI MENU
Press for the Navigation
Menu screen.
RESET
Restore unit back to factory
default settings and ejects
a disc if stuck in the unit.

LISTENING TO FM/AM
RADIO STATIONS
Touch [BAND] to select the 1.
desired radio preset band.
Each press changes the
bands as follows: FM-1
FM-2 AM FM-1
Touch [2. ], [ ] or
[ ], [ ] to change the
radio frequency. In manual
mode, touch and hold
to change the frequency
continuously.

LISTENING TO SiriusXM
SATELLITE RADIO
CHANNELS
Touch [1. ] or [] to select
the desired channel.
Touching and holding either
button will rapidly browse
through the channels.
SEARCHING SiriusXM
RADIO CHANNELS
Touch CATEGORY [1. ]
or [] on the SiriusXM
main screen to search
categories. The channels
are listed for each category.
Touch [2. ] of the desired
channel within the selected
category.

USING THE CD PLAYER
INSERTING A DISC
Press 1. on the unit.
Insert a disc: Touch [Open] 2.
on the Eject/Tilt screen.
EJECTING THE DISC
Repeat Step 1 above. Touch
[Eject] under Disc.
Touch [Close] to close the
display.
PLAYING A CD
Touch [1. ] to skip back
a track, or to start a track
over. Touch and hold [ ]
to rewind songs.
Touch [ ] to skip ahead
a track.
Touch and hold [ ] to fast
forward songs.
Disc Slot
Connect an iPod/iPhone to this
unit using the USB cable in the
glove box.
Touch 1.

to select
the desired song. Return to
the beginning of the current
song: Touch

Fast backward the current
song: Touch and hold

Advance to the beginning of

VOLUME CONTROL
Press the VOL (+) or (-)
button to increase or
decrease the volume level.
PROGRAM SELECTION
Press the up or down
button to:
- Select a preset FM/AM
radio station.
- Select a preset SiriusXM
radio station.
- Select Pandora thumbs
rating.
MUTE
Press the MUTE button to
lower the volume instantly.
NOTE: The sound does not
completely mute.
MODE
Press the MODE button to
toggle source: Radio /Disc /
iPod /Pandora /USB Audio /
AUX1

PAIRING A BLUETOOTH DEVICE
To pair the phone, use only
your phone’s Bluetooth pairing
procedure.
Select “Alpine Navigation 1.
Receiver” from a
Bluetooth
compatible device.
The PIN code (“0000”) is 2.
displayed on the unit.
Input the PIN code (“0000”) 3.
in a
Bluetooth
compatible
device.
“Connected/ (Device 4.
name)” is displayed upon
a successful connection
to a Bluetooth compatible
device. (Refer to “Setup
Before Using” in the
Navigation Owner’s Manual
for more details.)

ANSWERING A CALL
Incoming calls are announced
by a ring tone and the Caller
name/PHONE No.
Touch [
].
HANGING UP THE PHONE
Touch [ ].
DIALING A NUMBER
Press and hold MUTE/1.
PHONE for at least 2
seconds. The Telephone
Menu screen is displayed.
Touch [>>] and select Dial 2.
Input.
Touch [3. ] to display the
item of Dial Input.
The numeric keypad 4.
screen is displayed. To
dial, touch (input) the
telephone number, and
then touch [Call].
The call is placed/initiated.
About the numeric keypad
: closes the numeric keypad
input screen
Delete All: deletes all input
numbers.
:
deletes a previous dialed
number.
NOTE: The Bluetooth hands-free
device is limited to display up to
1,000 phone numbers. The greater the
number of entries in your phone book,
the longer it takes to download.

Press Navigation Menu
Regional
Language
You can select a Language
from English, French or
Spanish.
Units
You can set the Units of
Measure to read in kilometers
(Metric) or miles (US).
Clock
You can set the Clock to 12 or
24 hour style and set Daylight
Savings to fi t your region.
Time Zone
You can set the Time Zone to
t your region.
