6.2. BASE FLANGE ACCOMMODATION
BEFORE PERMANENTLY MOVING THE PROJECTOR & ENCLOSURE INTO THE
CEILING, YOU MAY NEED TO LOOK AT HOW THE BOTTOM SEAL & BOTTOM
FRAME OF THE ENCLOSURE ARE GOING TO MATCH TO THE CEILING. BECAUSE
THE FRAME IS METAL & HAS A THICKNESS, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO MILL OR
ROUTER THE FACE OF THE CEILING BOX, TO REMOVE ENOUGH WOOD SO THAT
WHEN THE PROJECTOR LIFT ENCLOSURE IS INSTALLED, THE BASE FLANGE AND
THE CEILING PLATE ARE FLUSH WITH THE CEILING SURFACE, OR SUFFICIENTLY
RECESSED SO THAT IF A CEILING FINISH, SUCH AS DRYWALL, OR CEILING TILE,
IS APPLIED, THE RESULTING SURFACES WILL BE CONTIGUOUS.
