DISPENSING
PLEASE NOTE:
Pressing the same dose key
during dispensing can stop the
selected dose (not available for
Self confi guration).
In case of a milk-based
dose, press once to stop milk
dispensing, and once again
to stop coffee dispensing; the
sequence depends on the type of
dispensing (not available for Self
confi guration).

WARNING:
Handle the hot water spout with
caution because it might cause
burns due to high temperature.
Hot water cannot be dispensed
simultaneously with steam.
COFFEE/CAPPUCCINO
DISPENSING
Place a cup under the coffee
dispenser, and press the desired
dose key. For Shift doses, press
the Key No3 (Shift) fi rst and then
the desired dose key.
The display shows:
Where “XXXXXXXX” indicates the
selected dose key name.
HOT WATER DISPENSING
Place a cup under the hot water
outlet, and press the hot water
key dose. Dispensing will be
automatically stopped once the
programmed dose is over. The
display shows:

STARTING UP
When the set-up temperature is
reached, the display shows:
For machine confi guration Standard
or Self
SELECT DRINK
After checking that the machine
door is closed and the ground bin
is inserted, press the key No.1
(ON/OFF) to turn ON the machine.
Fill in the required amount for
daily consumption in order to
keep coffee always fresh.
Warning: during this stage
remove any jug with milk or any
other kind of liquid from the
steam wand!

DECAFFEINATED DISPENSING
(NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELF

Place a cup under the coffee
dispenser and open the
decaffeinated coffee door, the
display shows :
Pour in the powdered coffee
Close the decaffeinated door
Press the desired dose key, the
display shows:
PLEASE WAIT

Where indicates that the
selected dose will be dispensed
without the activation of the
grinders.
PLEASE NOTE:
If the decaffeinated door is not
closed, or if the dose button is
not selected, the machine will
automatically cancel this function
after 20 seconds. The coffee group
will carry out a cleaning cycle of
the brewing chamber. The display
shows:
EXTRAMILK DISPENSING (ONLY
LM MACHINE, NOT AVAILABLE
FOR SELF CONFIGURATION)
Press any milk-based key and
keep it pressed, after 2 seconds
foamed milk will start being
dispensed, the display shows:
By releasing the pressed key,
dispensing will be stopped.

Clean the steam wand by means
of a cloth.

After using the steam wand pull
down the steam tap to purge the
nozzle.

handling the rubber protection.

Insert the detergent tablet into
the decaffeinated chute and close
the cover. For machine in SELF
confi guration open the frond or
and insert the detergent tablet
into the brewing chamber, then
close the door.

- We suggest repeating the group
cleaning cycle by using only water.

AUTOMATIC CLEANING OF MILK FROTHER
Prepare a solution of water
and detergent (q.ty 200 ml.)
by following the instructions
indicated in the product.

strongly recommend to use the

Take the milk infeed tube out of
the milk box.

Insert the milk infeed tube into a
container with detergent.
PLEASE NOTE: a) For F20 repeat the milk frother cleaning for the second group (if
present)
b) Do not interrupt the cleaning cycle. If the cleaning cycle is interrupted by any type of
operation unrelated to the procedure, when the machine functioning is set back again,
the cleaning cycle will automatically be activated.
b)
Only in case that after the automatic cleaning process the milk frother is not properly
dispensing, carry out a manual cleaning; see the following steps.
Remove the milk frother from the
coffee outlet

Remove the milk frother from its
holder and disconnect silicone
tubes No. -3- and -4-

Disassemble the milk frother in all
its parts (fi rst by turning and then
by pulling as shown in the picture)
and wash it either by hand or in a
dishwasher. Make sure that all the
holes are free from milk residues
and that the O-rings are in good
condition.
OTHER RECOMMENDED CLEANING
At the end of the cleaning cycle
rinse the drip tray in a sink.
At the end of the cleaning cycle
rinse the grounds bin in a sink.
Once a month clean the hopper
by means of a cloth and approved
food detergent.

MACHINE FUNCTIONS MESSAGES
Foam setting
The milk frother is equipped with a FOAM REGULATOR which sets the quantity
of air needed to froth milk.
Turn the ring nut clockwise for thicker foam (small bubbles), or turn it
anticlockwise for more voluminous foam (large bubbles).

Milk temperature setting
The milk frother is equipped
with a MILK TEMPERATURE
REGULATOR which reduces the
quantity of sucked milk.
Turn the regulator clockwise to
increase the milk temperature, or
turn it anticlockwise to reduce it.

OPEN THE FRONT DOOR TO ACCESS THE FOLLOWING ADJUSTMENTS (ONLY LM MACHINE)
PLEASE NOTE: for all other messages please refer to your service center.
PLEASE NOTE: the total cashing will be calculated if selling price has been set for each dose.

CAUSE: The front door is open;
the micro switch does not touch
the door
RESULT: Shutdown of the machine

Alarm of too much coffee in the
brewing chamber

CAUSE: There is too much coffee in
the brewing chamber, or the piston
o-ring is dirty and the piston cannot
enter into the brewing chamber
correctly
RESULT: The machine interrupts
