PRECAUTIONS
Keep the scale away from strong EMI noises may cause incorrect weight
readings.
Do not subject the scale to sudden
temperature changes.
Place the scale on a flat and stable
surface.
If the scale is not properly
level, please adjust the 4 legs
at the bottom of the scale
(turn legs clockwise or
counterclockwise) so as to
center the bubble of the
leveling gauge inside the
indicated circle.
Do not subject the platter to sudden
shocks. This scale must be installed in a dry
and liquid free environment.
Leveling gauge
Make sure that you plug your scale into the proper power outlet.
Plug into a power outlet 10 minutes before operations.

Toggle between metric and non-metric mode.
KEYS FUNCTIONS
1. How to Convert the Unit of Weight
kg / lb
This is the metric mode.
Press the kg/lb key. The weight display should read “Pound” and
remain this way for about 2 seconds.
The weight display should read “0.00”
automatically.
Now, you can use the non-metric mode.
Make sure that kg lamp should be on.
100g mode: Note that you can use this function only in the metric mode.
If you want to use this mode, press the 100g key.
Make sure that 100g lamp should be on.
NOTE: To use non-metric mode from 100g mode, please do the followings.
Press the 100g key, Now you are in the metric mode.
Press the kg/lb key, Now you are in the non-metric mode.

This is the non-metric mode.
Press the kg/lb key. The weight display should read “nEtric” and
remain this way for about 2 seconds.
The weight display should read “0.000”
automatically.
Now, you can use the metric mode.
WARNING: When you change the unit of weight, avoid leaving any item or
items on the platter.
A) From metric mode to non-metric mode
Make sure that lb lamp should be on.
B) From non-metric mode to metric mode
B) Known Tare(Keyboard Tare) Mode

Enter tare weight by pressing the numeric key. Press TARE key.
Place the container on the platter and enter
a unit price. Place the commodity in the container.
Remove commodity with container from
the platter.

2. General Weighing

Remove the commodity from the platter.
NOTE 1: The represents the lamps on the displays above.
This is the metric mode, so kg lamp should be on.
NOTE 2: The unit price is cleared automatically after each transaction.
3. Weighing with Tare
A) Unknown (weighed) tare
Place the container on the platter. Press TARE key.

Place the commodity in the container. Enter a unit price.
Remove commodity with container from
the platter.
NOTE: The tare is cleared automatically after each transaction.
Not all the countries are applicable with a tare-clear function.
B) Known (manually entered) tare

Enter a tare value. Press TARE key.
Place a container on the platter. Place a commodity in the container.
Enter a unit price. Remove the commodity and the container.
The display still shows the tare value and the
unit price.

Remove the commodity from the platter.
Then the display still shows unit price.
5. Saving a Current Tare
A) Unknown (weighed) tare
Place a container on the platter. Press the TARE key and enter a unit price.
Place a commodity in the container. Remove the commodity from the container.
Remove the container.
Then the display still shows the tare and the
unit price.

Press the SAVE key and enter a unit price. Place a commodity on the platter.
4. Saving a Currently Called Unit Price
This function saves currently called unit price from automatically clearing.
8. Saving a PLU to Memory
This function stores each PLU into a internal back up memory.
PLU means Price Look Up which has a unit price.
This scale has 3 memories of direct PLUs and 200 memories of indirect PLUs.
A) FOR DIRECT PLU KEYS
For example: $ 2.99 - M1 key

Enter a unit price and place a commodity then
press ADD key. Remove the commodity from the platter.

Press RECALL key. Press RECALL key again to return to weighing
mode.
Place another commodity and enter a unit
price then press ADD key. Remove the commodity from the platter.
NOTE: You can add-up items up to 99 times or $ 9999.99 in this manner.
Otherwise, you will hear a beep sound.

6. Add-up Sales
This add up function adds up a total price of several commodities.
You can check the total price by pressing RECALL key.
7. Recalling the Added Total Price
This function is used in conjunction with the ADD key.
TTP CALL shows the total price of all the added items.
When you press the TTP CALL key without using the add up function, you will
hear a beep sound.
To display the total price of added commodities.
To clear the total price of added commodities.

Press RECALL key. Press C key to clear total price and return to
weighing mode.

For example: $ 3.75 - 125 (address)
9. How to Call a PLU
Make sure that the platter is empty when you call a PLU.
The possible numbers of this function are 200.(address 0 through 199)
A) FOR DIRECT PLU KEYS
For example: M1 key - $ 2.99

Press one of the direct PLU keys. Place a commodity on the platter.
Remove the commodity from the platter.
B) FOR INDIRECT PLUS
For example: 125 (address) - $ 3.75

Enter the address of an indirect PLU. Press MR key.
Place a commodity on the platter. Remove the commodity from the platter.
NOTE: Do not use the decimal point while recalling PLU’s.
