Backdraft Damper

Make sure the Backdraft Damper is installed in the proper direction. The tapered end should point towards the dust collector

and the square end should point towards your machines and the gate hinge is on the top. You must completely seal where

the Damper connects to the pipe with silicone or with metal tape or both.

connect the pipe to the damper (as shown above) and completely seal where the Damper and pipe connects to the adapter

with silicone or with metal tape or both.
