3. Main menu
When connecting the power adaptor ,player will get into standby mode. you can see one
led light on front panel. Power on the player by pressing the Power key on remote control, you
can see the main menu (You can always go back to the main menu by pressing the MENU
button) as right picture.
In order to achieve a better viewing experience, Please adjust settings to matching your TV.

Adjust setting
Select "Setting" icon, press Enter button to enter setting menu, as right picture.
Press 5/6 to select each item. Press 3/4to select different options.
Press Enter to confirm. Press EXIT to exit menu.

3.2 media device
The player with two USB host interface, you can connect U disk, mobile hard disk and other USB interface storage
devices. Also with a 3-in-1 card reader, compatible with SD, MMC, MS three types of memory cards.
When insert a storage device, the screen will add an icon correspondingly .
You can use USB HUB to support additional USB device.
Tips
Network setup: Setting network parameters, more detail see page 16.
Upgrade: Exit/Install now.
User can download the newest firmware(app_A1.img)from the website of inphic. and
copy this file to SD card or U-disk(you must save this file on root directory), then plug the
device in media box. Now you can upgrade the software, Enter the upgrade menu->Select
Install->Enter to start update software, as right picture: when update completed, the player
will restart automatically.(more upgrade detail can see the website: http://bbs.inphic.com）
Note1: Do not shut down power during upgrade!!! Otherwise, might cause unrecoverable damage to the player;
Note2: The*.img is for firmware upgrade, so please do not store any similar documents in the storage device.

On main menu, press 34key to select All FILE icon, press Enter key to enter video file list
page(You can always get in last entry of video file list page by pressing the hotkey FILE button).
File edit
Press Enter key to enter copy file menu, Press 5/6key to select disk,
Press34key to enter subdirectory or go back to last level directory,
Press Enter key to start copying file after set the target path.
Press Enter key to return to all file list page when copy finished.

Play movie
In main menu, press key to select Movie icon, press Enter key to enter video file
list page(You can always get in last entry of video file list page by pressing the hotkey
Movie button). On this page, press 56key to select media device, Enter key to enter.
All the available folders and video files will be listed on the left side. Preview window
on the right side and the selected video file's profile message will appear together , so users
can get the general information of it easily.
1.The file edit function can use in all browser page.
2.Incorrect operation might cause the file damage, so It is necessary to backup important file.
3.Sometimes the storage device might be unknown device, please format it.
Tips
Playback features
Bookmark: Play video file drop out, the system will automatically save the last
play time. next time to play this file, system will prompt whether the point of playing
from memory. In other menu (non-full-screen playback), press the memory button will
display the last 10 films to watch, such as picture 3 shows. press up and down keys to
select, you can choose whether from Memory time to start playing, so to achieve a
multi-breakpoint play function. If you want to clear the memory list, move the cursor to
"Clear all bookmarks" item, enter key to confirm.
Restore Default will erase all bookmarks memory point.
Tips
Press Zoom key repeatedly, the picture can be zoom in X2, X3 and X4, and in zoom
state, press Arrow keys to focus more detail.
Press Time seek key to show time seek menu,press 3/4key to select
hour/minute/second.Press 5/6keyto change current playing time.
Enter key to confirm. Exit key to return. as shown picture1:
Info key to show the current file information, including video type, audio
type,file size, and total time , as shown picture2, Press Info key again to show total
time/current time of current video;
Press 16:9/4:3 key to adjust the video screen aspect ratio, you can choose :full-
screen, 16:9 mode1, 16:9 mode2, 4:3 mode and keep ratio.
A-B repeat: When Playing video file, press A>B button, upper right corner of the
screen displays "Repeat A> ", set the starting point for re-broadcast clips, press again
A>B button to display the "Repeat A>B ", to Set the end of cropping clips. Then the
system will automatically loop the contents of AB period. Note that if to repeat long
period of time, you can fast-forward to the B point, and then to set the destination. or
you can set the end of the firstly, then rewind to set the starting point. press the Exit
key or press the A>B button to return, the screen display "cancel A>B".

4.3.Play picture
In the main menu，press34key to select Picture icon, press Enter key to
enter picture file list page(or use the shortcut Picture button),the file default view
mode is thumbnail. Press the Enter key to enter device, as the right picture shown:
Press56key to select file, scroll up / next page.
Press Exit to return to previous directory, press the Enter key to enter the next
level directory, or pictures full screen playback.
On the right side displays the picture files can be identified, the left window
shows the folder or file's information. in this page:

playback pause, press again to cancel pause. press exit or <key to stop the current
playback, return to the preview page. Zoom key to amplify X2, X4, X8, X16 the

Playback features
If the file encoding format does not support or exceed the maximum rate, the system will pop up display
"not support file press the Exit key to exit.
Tips
When play video files, if have subtitles, press the subtitle button pop-up sub menu, options are：
1Sub option：to select a subtitle or close subtitle display.
1font color：select the subtitle of the main color, there are 7 options
1Frame color：select the subtitle border color, 7 choices
1size：adjust the subtitle text size
1Location：adjust the position of subtitles
1Encoding：adjust the subtitle encoding format
1Time offset：adjust the subtitle time offset.
Support: *. srt, *. smi, *. ssa subtitle formats. To properly display subtitles, subtitle files and video files need to
be in the same directory, and the two files with the same name.

This players supports picture background music selections feature, as follows: full
screen picture, press the Audio button, pop-up menu selections, as shown,
Press the arrow keys to select the target directory. enter key , exit key
or 3 key to return to the parent directory. Press down button to select the music file,
press the Enter button to start playing background music.
When play background music:
Press 78 button, to select the next track in the directory. Press + /- button,
adjust the background music volume, press mute button to close the background
music sounds, Press the button, close the background music;

Playback features
In the main menu，press34key to select Music icon, press Enter key to enter
music file list page(or use the shortcut Music button). Press the Enter key to enter
device, as the right picture shown:
On the right side displays the picture files can be identified, the left window shows
the folder or file's information. in this page:
Press56key to select file. Press9/:key to scroll up / next page.
Press Exit to return to previous directory, press Enter key to enter the
next level directory, or play the music file.

press +/- k ey to A djust the appropriate volume. the Mute button to turn on or turn off
the sound.
press78key to Fast forward, rewind, choose the speed of 2 times, 4
times, 8 times.
4.4.Music play
When the music file playing, press the Exit key would not stop the music playing,
unless press the stop button or play the movie or flash file.
This device supports LRC lyrics synchronized display, to correctly display lyrics, LRC lyrics file
must be the same name with audio files, and in the same directory.

4.6.FLASH(i9 only)
All operations is the same as movie playback menu, see 4.2 play movie.
In main menu，press34key to select Flash icon, press Enter key to enter device.

Bookmark: When playing a text file drop out, system will automatically save the last play time. When next
time to play the file, system will prompt whether return the point or not. system can save 10 bookmarks.
5.Network( i9 only)
Before using the network function, connect and configure your network, in the main menu, press Info key
to display the information of the network status and network authorization.
µ Wired network connection-i9 connect Internet by router:
Use the twisted-pair cable to connect machine’s ETHERNET interface
with the router, as right picture:
Configure the network environment: Enter Settings menu, select “Network
setup”-> “Current Net Property” to check connection information. If the DHCP
function of router is open, Ethernet property will show: Network cable
inserted, and IP Address, Gateway, DNS will show the right numbers. if the
router's DHCP function off, the machine can’t obtain IP addresses. In this
case need to manually set the IP address: for example, select “Set Ethernet
network manually” to set the IP address: 192.168.1.200, subnet mask is set
to: 255.255.255.0, gateway is set to: 192.168.1.1. After setting, press the
Enter key, then return to view the network connection status.

button to the download page, you can see video resource, contains all the relevant
information (name, definition, format, size), such as the right one:

5.1.4 Pop search:
Enter pop search menu, you will see the search input field, key tips. use of the
remote control number keys to input file name to search the resource (the keys on
the remote four rows below), press the Enter key to search.
press "#" key to switch input method, press "*" key to delete. Search results
include the film out of the name, definition, format and size. Up and down keys to
select, press the Enter key to start download, when finish it, you can see the file in
the "Downloaded" menu.
µWireless network connection - This function need to purchase USB wireless card
(select models optional).
Use wireless card plugged into the USB port, enter settings menu->network
settings -> Set WIFI Auto -> select the access points, such as: "inphic" - press the
Enter key to connect. If you select the AP to set a communication password, press
the Enter key will pop up the password input box, by 5634keys to select the
screen keyboard, "Submit" button to determine the password, the password
correctly will be validated and get IP addresses. Wireless settings can be
manually set, enter setting-Wifi-Manual menu, input wireless network name,
encryption, IP address (dynamic IP / static IP), password (if the AP to set a
password, or skip), select "Connect" , press the Enter key to connect the AP, set
the correct words will pop up and IP address information is verified.

In main menu，press34key to select Network icon, then select Weather icon Enter key to enter.
In the left side shows the default city 3 days weather forecast. 56key to select the province you want, Enter
key to view the weather, press Copy button to set the city to default.
In the main menu, press the F1 key on the remote control will display the default city forecast.

In main menu，press34key to select Network icon, then select Net radio icon Enter key to enter.
press56key to select, Enter key to play, Exit key to return, A>B key to search.
Menu will show Favorites menu directly, if you have saved favorite radio stations. Press34key to select
function.
press56key to select, Enter key to play, Exit key to return.
press56key to select, Enter key to delete.
Menu will display all the list of radio stations directly, if you have not saved favorite radio stations.
press the Copy button to add
this station to your favorites.
★ Display the list of programs Favorites.
Ë Back to list of all stations.
Remove the radio in favorites list,
Search for online radio stations.

Troubleshooting

– Make sure the video calbe or HDMI cable connect correctly.
– Make sure the video output mode is match with TV.

response speed of the system.
--The file numbers would be better less 300 in one folder.
File name shows abnormal
– Try to use English and Chinese character for the folder
name, and the characters no more than 10.
