Installation
1
Preparing the countertop
NOTICE: Due to the uniqueness of this handmade copper sink, it is
STRONGLY recommended that this sink be installed by a professional
installer.
Place the sink (A) upside down on the countertop (1) and
trace around the edges of the sink (A). Ensure that the
placement of the sink allows enough clearance for the
faucet and other sink accessories.
Measure the inside edge of the lip and use this as the
distance to use between the original trace line and the
inside trace that. This inside trace line will be your cut line.

appropriate cutting tool for the surface you are cutting and
cut along the inside of the template line.

Drilling holes for the clips
On the underside of the counter, mark the location of the
eight holes for the clips (AA) and the accessories that will
be used to attach them underneath the sink. These holes

Installing the sink
Insert the screws (1) attached to the clips (AA) loosely in
the holes that you drilled for them in the underside of the
counter.
Place a small bead of silicone sealant (not included) around
the upper lip of the sink (A).
Carefully place the sink (A) into its location under the
counter, with the lip of the sink being supported by the
clips (AA).
Tighten the screws (1) evenly, ensuring the sink (A) remains
in place.
Wipe away any excess silicone and, for best results, allow
the bond to rest undisturbed for 8 hours or overnight.

Care and Cleaning
WHAT IS THE LIVING FINISH THAT COPPER HAS?
The beauty of copper is its living nish or patina. It builds overtime and works as a protective coating. The patina is a rich weathered nish
with light and dark tones complementing each other and creating the unique effect of copper. It is also what gives copper its natural anti-
microbial properties. If any substance or material is in contact for an extended period of time the Patina will be removed. However, if this
occurs the copper will naturally re-patina and darken giving the nish a natural copper blend. Examples of products that will remove the
nish leaving your sink with shiny areas: Soft Scrub, Clorox Bleach, Drano, or Acidic Foods and Products.
Pure Copper Sinks will age and patina with time and use. Copper is a living metal with Natural Anti-Microbial properties. Depending
on cleaning and exposure to standard household chemicals copper will change light to dark to light with typical use. Typically an
installed and frequently used copper sink will resemble the nish of an old penny.
For daily cleaning, simply wash with mild soap and water. We recommend wiping dry “with a soft cloth” after each use to minimize
spotting.
To help protect your copper sink further, we recommend applying a light application of High-Grade Carnauba wax. This can be found at
any local Home Depot.
DO NOT use strong abrasive cleaners, metal scrub pads, or steel wool. These will scratch the surface.
DO NOT leave rubber mats or sponges inside the sink. Water trapped below could lead to stains.
DO NOT let food, dishes or pots and pans sit inside the copper sink for prolonged periods of time.
DO NOT allow chlorine bleach in contact with the your new Copper sink. It will remove the patina and drastically change the nish of
your sink.
DO NOT allow drain cleaners to come into contact with the sink surface.
Rust spots – Pure Copper sinks DO NOT RUST. If you see shiny spots coming through this normal and should darken over time.
