Assemble the plate appropriate to the type of hairstyle
you wish to create on the appliance, sliding it into its
housings as shown in fig. 1 until it is anchored in
place. Do not use the comb guide (L) when using the
waver plates.
Steam function
If you wish to use the plate with the steam function,
release the reservoir (E) by pressing button (D),
grasp the end of the reservoir with two fingers and
remove it from the plate body. Open the reservoir by
turning the cap (F) anti-clockwise. Fill the reservoir,
being careful to make sure that water does not over-
flow, and screw the cap on, turning it clockwise. An-
chor the reservoir onto the plate again, sliding it into
the guides until it is locked in place. Whenever you
press the reservoir in the direction of the handle, the
plates will release a small jet of steam.
Dry use

Your hair must be slightly damp when you use the pro-
fessional plate. Separate out a section of hair about 5
cm wide and comb it through. Place the section be-
tween the two hot straightening plates and tighten the
handles of the appliance firmly. For a totally straight
look, work from the roots toward the ends of the hair.
Or, you may straighten only some sections of hair, to
add softness and texture.
Hold the appliance in position for a few seconds, de-
pending on your hair type (5 seconds will be enough
for fine hair, while 8 seconds will be necessary for
medium to thick hair).
To release the hair from the plates, simply release the
pressure on the handles.
If you are straightening a large amount of hair, you
may need to repeat the process. Line up the outer
part of the hair with the end of the straightening plate.
Close the appliance for 5 – 8 seconds. Repeat the
process as necessary to obtain the desired effect.
You will be able to create your own personal look with
practice.
Waves.
Follow the same procedure as for straightening hair,
but use the waver plate (D). Do not use the comb with
the waver plate.
IMPORTANT: follow the instructions provided in the
manual to prevent damage to hair.
