□ When adjusting the air flow valve, release the trigger, then
adjust.
□ If adjusting while triggered, the needle (G) will run but
provide no adjustment.
□ If the air flow valve will not turn, check
to see if it is either set to maximum
adjustment or there is material on the
threads
□ Clean the threads as needed.
□ Test the spray pattern on cardboard. Hold
the gun 18 to 24 in. from surface.
□ Using a circular motion, overlap each
stroke.
□ Also use the support stand to support the
gun during operation.
□ To get less material, try one or a combination of these
methods: Adjust the air flow valve to decrease flow,
counterclockwise. Use a smaller nozzle.
□ Fill the hopper gun no more than 90% full with your spray
material.
□ Open the air flow adjustment valve and run air through the
hopper gun.
□ Lift the hopper gun until it is approximately 1-1/2 to 2 ft.
below the ceiling and angle the gun between 25 and 55
degrees.
□ Always start near a corner or an edge.
□ Begin spraying and move towards the opposite corner or
edge.
□ Move backwards without stopping and move towards the
original starting corner or edge.
□ Repeat these procedures until you have covered the entire
ceiling.
□ To get more material, try any one or a combination of
these methods: Adjust the air flow valve to increase flow,
clockwise; Use a thinner material mixture; Use a larger
nozzle.
□ Use the trigger buckle to lock the
trigger for longer use to reduce the
working fatigue.
□ Check and thin material as needed to maintain proper
consistency. The material may thicken as it sits and slow
down production. Agitate periodically.
