adjustedbeforeascendingthemast.
For use with whip antennas only.

body.

If you removed the whip, reinsert it into the
antenna body.
Tightenlocknutorsetscrew.
Slide vinyl keeper downsovaneisheldinplaceyetturnsfreely.

Final Assembly.
•Disconnectantennacable.
•Removelocknut
•Unthreadcouplerfrombottomof
antennabody.
•ReplacetheMetzbushingwithone
oftwoplasticbushingssupplied
(trythickerbushingfirst).
•Threadcouplerbackontothe
antennabody.
•PlaceMetzO-ringinposition.
•Placestainlesssteelwasherunder
O-ring.
•Slidethereferencetabsupportwire
ontothecoupler.
•InsertcouplerintoMetzbracket.
•Threadlocknutontocoupler.Ifnot
enoughthreadsareavailableto
securelocknut,removecouplerand
replacebushingwiththinnerbushing
supplied.Repeatassembly.
•Positionreferencetabarmssothey
faceaft,alignedwithcenterlineofboat.
•Tightenlocknut.
•Reconnectantennacable.

orusesiliconesealonthethreads
toeliminatethepossibilityoftheunit
unscrewinginusefromvibration.
•Priortounsteppingyourmast,takeyour
WindTrakdownfirst.
Periodicallychecktheassemblyscrewshold-
ingyourWindTraktogether.
•Lubricationisneverneeded,butyearsofsalt
ordirtbuild-upshouldberinsedoffwithfresh
wateroccasionally.
