Shake Well Before Using.
Although transplanting, or moving plants, from garden
center containers to the ground is important, the process
can be traumatic for your plants. Use PENNINGTON
®
ULTRAGREEN
®
PLANT STARTER WITH VITAMIN B1 to
reduce transplant shock in flowers, shrubs, trees, fruits,
nuts, vegetables, herbs, groundcovers, and house plants.
Use in addition to a normal fertilization program.
Directions for Use.
The bottle cap can be used as a measuring tool for
PENNINGTON
®
ULTRAGREEN
®
PLANT STARTER WITH
VITAMIN B1. The first line inside of the cap measures
approximately 1 tablespoon of concentrate. The second
line, marked with a 2, yields 2 tablespoons of concentrate.
Dilute with the appropriate amount of water as stated in
the directions.
Ornamental Shrubs and Trees, Fruit and Nut Trees,
Citrus, Berries (balled, bare root or in containers):
Use 2 tablespoons per gallon of water. Apply the mixture
to the roots or root ball as plants are set into the planting
hole. Cover the roots with soil. Apply the mixture to the
entire root area at the rate of one 32 ounces to 2 sq.ft.
Repeat every two weeks until plants are well established.
Bedding plants (annual and perennial flowers),
Groundcovers, Vegetables and Herbs (from
transplants, bulbs, or seed):
Use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water and thoroughly
saturate the root area at the time of planting, at the rate of
one gallon of mixture per 10 sq. ft. Repeat every week until
the plants are well established.
House Plants (when repotting and at planting):
Use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. Thoroughly water
plants with the mixture each week until they are settled in
and well established.
