When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions should always be

1. Read all instructions.

2. Do not use the appliance on wet or hot surfaces, or near a heat

3. To protect against ﬁre, electrical shock or injury, do not immerse the

unit, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

4. Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use or before

cleaning.

5. To disconnect the appliance, unplug the power cord from the

electrical outlet. Do not disconnect by pulling on the cord.

• Never touch the Beaters or Dough Hooks while the mixer is operating

or plugged in.

• Keep hands, hair, clothing, and utensils away from Beaters and Dough

Hooks during use to reduce the risk of injury to and/or damage to the

mixer.

• Never immerse cord, plug, or mixer in water or any other liquid.

• If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water,

unplug it from the wall outlet immediately. Do not reach into the

water!

• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risk of becoming

entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

• Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.

• If an extension cord is used:

a. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least

equal to the electrical rating of the appliance; and

b. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over

the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or

tripped over.

ELECTRICAL POLARIZED PLUG

This unit has a polarized plug (one

blade is wider than the other). To

reduce the risk of electric shock,

the plug is intended to be used

by inserting it into the electrical

outlet only one way. If the plug

does not ﬁt securely into the outlet,

reverse the plug and re-insert. If it

still does not ﬁt, contact a qualiﬁed

electrician for assistance. Do not

modify the plug in any way.

USING YOUR HAND MIXER

Note: Ensure the mixer is set to "0"/OFF and unplugged before inserting

attachments.

1. Insert the Beaters or Dough Hooks into the sockets under the mixer.

You may need to turn the attachments. Push until the attachments

click into place.

Note: The Dough Hook with the Ring on top (marked R) should be

inserted into the larger socket (marked R). The Dough Hook without the

Ring (marked L) should be inserted into the smaller socket (marked L).

2. Ensure the mixer is set to "0"/OFF and plug the mixer into an outlet.

3. Place the container with ingredients on a ﬂat, secure surface.

4. Insert the Beaters or Dough Hooks into the container. Secure the

container while mixing.

5. Push the Speed Control to the desired speed setting. It is

recommended that you begin on a low speed to avoid splashing.

6. For additional speed, push the Speed Control to a higher speed

setting or press and hold the Turbo Button.

7. Move the mixer around the container to mix all of the ingredients.

When you are done mixing, pull the Speed Control back to "0"/OFF.

8. Unplug the mixer. Press the Eject Button to remove attachments.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

• Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels.

• Wash all parts with warm, soapy water.

• Wipe the exterior of the mixer with a soft, damp cloth.

• Dry all parts thoroughly.

• Click Dough Hooks into inner clips

and Beaters into outer clips on

Storage Plate.

• Slide the loaded Storage Plate onto

the Storage Plate Track with the

arrow facing the bottom of mixer.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Never immerse cord, plug, or mixer in water or any other

liquid.

• Unplug the mixer before cleaning.

• Wash the attachments with warm, soapy water.

• Wipe the exterior of the mixer with a soft, damp cloth.

• Dry all parts thoroughly.

STORAGE

• Unplug the appliance and let it cool down.

• Make sure all parts are clean and dry.

• Store the appliance in a clean and dry place.

ENVIRONMENT

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste

at the end of its life, but hand it in at an ocial collection point for

recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment.

of purchase. It is applicable to the original purchaser

only and is not transferable to a third party user. Repair

or replacement of defective parts is solely at the seller’s

discretion. In the event that repair isn’t possible, the

seller will replace the product/part. If product repair/

replacement won’t suce, the seller has the option of

refunding the cash value of the product or component

returned.

Product defects not covered under the Warranty

provisions include normal wear and damage incurred

from use or accidental negligence, misuse of instruction

specications or repair by unauthorized parties.

incidental or consequential damages incurred by such
