HOW TO SELECT THE RIGHT PRODUCT

CANISTERS

Ideal for thorough cleaning of most floors and other surfaces, such as sofas and upholstery, and for all size of homes. They are light to carry around, they

reach everywhere thanks to the flexible hose and its attachments. They come with a wide range of accessories for special needs (pet hair, carpets, rugs,

etc). You need to allocate some space for storage.

STICKS

Ideal for frequent cleaning of hard flooring. They are ready to use and only need a small space for storage. If you find traditional corded sticks a bit heavy,

choose a cordless version: they are designed for a quick and effective cleaning of smaller homes; they are lighter and very flexible to use.

UPRIGHTS

Ideal for carpet flooring. Thanks to the motorized brush-bar they clean thoroughly carpet floors.

They come equipped with a range of accessories, all stored on board for immediate use, to clean, all soft furnishing and for the efficient removal of pet hair.

Uprights are especially efficient at, cleaning large carpet areas, but because of their height they cannot easily be stored under a shelf, or in a box. Hoover

also offers a special version for hard floors, called Floormate.

POLISHERS

Ideal for delicate hard floors such as marble, tile and parquet. They combine vacuuming with a polishing action using 3 rotating brushes located at the bottom

of the foot. Polishers come with a set of different brushes to be used depending on the type of floors. Hoover offers the only polisher especially designed for

parquet.

HANDHELDS

Ideal for quick spills all around the house. They are equipped with rechargeable batteries, and are normally hung on a wall with their charging base, so they

are always ready to use. Hoover handhelds come in bright colours and elegant silver finish, to give a hint of design to your working areas.

ROBOTS

Ideal for a daily cleaning, to reduce the effort when you do the weekly cleaning with your traditional vacuum cleaner. It keeps your floors clean from the little

everyday dust, and gives a touch of design and technology to your home.

TANKS

Ideal for hard jobs, such as cleaning garages, balconies and working areas. Tanks are extremely versatile as they can vacuum either dry or wet debris. With

their great capacity some tanks can be quite large, in which case they would normally need a dedicated storage area.

PUREFILT BAG

They have 3 layers of filtration which helps reduce the proliferation of germs and bacteria.

HEPA BAG

They have up to 30 times more retention capability than standard bags, which results in no emission of dust. Some HEPA bags incorporate Active Carbon Filters for odour

removal. They are ideal if you suffer from allergies.

PAPER BAG

Standard dust collectors. The more the layers, the better the dust retention.

Depending on the type of bag, you may have a different level of dust retention. We can define 3 types of bags:

DUST MANAGEMENT TECNOLOGIES

MULTICYCLONIC/AIRVOLUTION™

It is the most advanced technology and it is based on the action of many small cyclones that quickly separate air from dust, pushing the latter to the bottom of the dust

container. Only minimum dust goes to the filter, which therefore needs minimum maintenance. Suction power remains high and constant, with no losses.

SINGLE CYCLONE

These systems are equipped with just one cyclone to generate the centrifugal effect. In this case the separation of dust from air is less effective and more dust will deposit

onto the filter, requiring more frequent maintenance to keep a high suction power.

FILTER BASED

The separation is done by a large filter that sits in the centre of the dust container. Most of the dust will deposit on the filter and you will need to clean it regularly to maintain

the suction of your cleaner.

BAGLESS DUST COLLECTOR

There are 3 technologies that differ for the frequency of maintenance, the drop in suction power and the amount of dust that you will get in contact with:

We have managed to exploit the anti bacteria power of silver,

known since ancient times, to develop a special treatment for

plastics, called silver ion. This is used for bagless product

dust containers and for mini turbo nozzles; it reduces 99,9%

of bacteria colonization in 24h, for an healthier environment.

If you suffer from allergies or have young children, look for a

product with HEPA Filter and Bactizero™ treatment and

either HEPA Bag or dust container treated with silver ions. This
