WARNING: Anchors must be removed while the
landing system is in use.
The tie-down straps help prevent wind damage to
landing systems, but are not a guarantee against
damage.
Anchors should be located as close to the landing
system as possible.
The anchors could pose a small tripping hazard. Take
this into account when determining the locations.
Straps are sold individually. A single tie-down kit
includes the following:
1x 2” Wide Strap 29ft Long
2x Three Bar Buckle
2x Spiral Stake Earth Anchor
Three tie-down kits are
used in this set-up.
Determine the location of the anchors. It is suggested that the an-
chors be as close to the landing system as possible to reduce the
tripping hazard.
Screw the earth anchor into the ground as far as possible.
Use the three bar buckles to attach the straps to the anchor u-bolts.
Lace the strap through the top slot, then the bottom slot.
Next run the strap under the anchor.
Then lace in back through the bottom slot.
Pull the remaining strap to tighten.
