Do not remove labels from the product. Labels contain important safety information. Do not operate beyond 1 Tons (2,200 lbs).
Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of this machine. The maximum weight this device can lift is 2,200 Lbs. The Pallet Truck
should only be used on a clean, smoothly finished floor.
DO ALLOW PEOPLE TO SIT OR RIDE ON THE PALLET TRUCK.
DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO STAND UNDER THE PALLET TRUCK WHILE IT IS RAISED.
DO NOT TRANSPORT LOADS WHILE THE PALLET TRUCK IS IN THE RAISED POSITION.
KEEP HANDS AND FEET AWAY FROM LOVING PARTS WHILE RAISING AND LOWERING THE LOAD.
Do not use while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
OPERATION
Always check the lift for damage and wear before using. Hydraulic oil must be changed regularly.
Raise and lower the load with care. Raising or lowering the load to quickly could result in the load becoming unbalanced, causing it to fall
and cause injury to people or objects nearby.
Do not allow the lift to stay in the raised position. Do not keep loads on the lift for an extended period of time.
Leaving the forks raised, or burdened with a load can cause damage and wear on the lift.
Do not attempt to lift unbalanced loads or loads that exceed the weight capacity.
The lift should be stored and used in temperatures no colder than -13°F (-25°C), and no warmer than 113°F (45°C).
To raise the forks, step on the foot pedal to activate the hydraulic pump. Pump the foot pedal to lift the forks to the desired height. The
forks on the lift have a maximum lift height of 63 inches. Stop pumping the foot pedal when the forks have reached the desired height,
or have reached the maximum lift height.
To lower the forks, step and hold down the foot pedal to allow the pressure to escape from the hydraulic lift, bringing the forks
downward. Release the foot pedal when the forks have reached the desired height, or when the forks have reached the floor.
To move a load that rests on the floor, insert the forks under the load, pump the foot pedal to raise the forks a few inches off the floor,
and manually push or pull the lift to move the load.
To move a load that rests high on a shelf, position the lifter a few feet in front of the load to be moved. Pump the foot pedal to raise the
forks to meet the height of the load, push the lift forward until the forks slide completely under the load, and pump the foot pedal to lift

the load a few inched off of the surface. Pull the lift backward, so that the forks and load clear the shelf, and engage the rear brakes.
Press and hold the foot pedal until the forks and load have lowered to a position a few inched from the floor. Release the break and
manually push or pull the lift to move the load.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MOVE THE LIFT WHILE THE FORKS ARE BEARING LOADS THAT HAVE BEEN RAISED
HIGH IN THE AIR.
Doing so could cause the load to become unstable and cause serious injury to the operator or others nearby.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Release Valve (Bleed the Pump)
Over time, the hydraulic pump assembly may become clogged with debris, air bubbles, and not function properly.
To clean the release valve and bleed the pump:
1. Pump handle quickly, raising pallet truck to full extent. While continuing pumping action, pull lever to down position.
2. When forks reach total down position, valve is flushed. Repeat if necessary.
Lubrication
Check the oil level annually by removing the oil plug
found on the top of the pump housing. When
changing or adding oil, fill the tank through the oil plug
screw hole to 80% capacity with hydraulic jack oil,
about 2” deep in pump housing, see Figure 3. Do not
use any other type of oil.
There is one grease fitting (#55B in the breakdown)
located on the table. Lubricate this point on a semi-
annual basis.
Fig. 3
Wheel bearings are sealed and require no lubrication. Crank Shaft features oil light bushings that also require no lubrication. Lightly oil
all moving parts.
Cleaning Relief Valve
Over time, relief valve may become clogged with debris and will not work properly. To clean relief valve, flush out hydraulic system as
follows:
Pump handle quickly, raising pallet truck to full extent and then quickly release pumping action.
Lubricating and Oiling
When changing or adding oil, fill tank to 80% capacity (Figure 3) with hydraulic oil, such as:
Shell Tellus Oil--------No. 22 or 27, Turbine Oil------------No. 22, Texaco Regal----------No. 32.
Change grease of rear and front wheels annually.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Cause Solution
The oil is low or has become contaminated in
the hydraulic jack.
Fill or replace the oil.
Air has entered the hydraulic system. Release the air by setting the controls to the
“lower” position, and pimping the handle
several times.
The forks will not lift, or will not lift to their
maximum height
The release rod has been set incorrectly. Reset the release rod.
The lift has been overloaded, and the piston
has been damaged.
Remove the load and replace or repair the
piston.
The lift has been kept in the raised position for
too long, resulting in damage to the piston.
Remove the load and replace or repair the
piston.
The forks will not lower.
The release rod has been set incorrectly. Reset the release rod.
Oil has leaked from the hydraulic system. Parts of the system have become damaged or
have worn out.
Replace the leaking parts.
