ing and recoating previously colored surfaces requires
the surface and base construction to be in compliance
with the applicable U.S.T.C. and T.B.A guidelines.
4.2 Substrate Cure Requirements
New hot-mix asphalt surfaces must be allowed 14-28
days minimum cure time prior to application of
PLUSH
™
Line Paint. For new concrete surfaces, a
minimum of 28 days cure time is required.
4.3 Surface Condition
The surface upon which PLUSH
™
Line Paint is to be
applied must be smooth, free of dirt, loose or flaking
paint, oily materials or chemical residues, vegetation
of any sort, and any other debris or foreign matter that
may prevent the proper product adhesion.
5. GUIDE TO APPLICATION
5.1 Striping Layout
Consult the American Sports Builders Association’s
specifications for proper striping layouts.
www.sportsbuilders.org
5.2 Surface Preparation
Taping and priming prior to striping is recommended
for best results. Using a striping roller or brush, apply
tape to both sides of the area to be striped. Overlap the
inside edges of the tape. This will seal the tape to the
acrylic surface and prevent the PLUSH
™
Line Paint
from bleeding under the tape.
5.3 Mixing
PLUSH
™
Line Paint is packaged ready to use and
requires NO DILUTION. However, the product
should be thoroughly mixed prior to application. A
mechanical mixer is recommended.
5.4 Application
Apply the product by brush, roller, or special marking
equipment. For best results DO NOT DILUTE One
coat is usually enough.
5.5 Dry and Cure Time
PLUSH
™
Line Paint must be allowed to dry
thoroughly between coating applications. Completed
projects should be allowed 24 hours to cure before
releasing to play.

mately one gallon of PLUSH
