Kensington W1050 1080p Fixed Focus Wide Angle USB-A Webcam installation guide.
Register your webcam at kensington.com/register
1a. Plug the webcam cable into any available USB-A port.
1b. For USB-C, connect the included USB-A to USB-C adapter to the end of the webcam
2a. LED Indicator: The camera and microphones are live when this light is on.
2b. 1080p Lens: This lens is optimized to help you look your best when using your webcam with video conferencing applications.
2c. Privacy Cover: Manually slide this cover to the left to block the camera when you are not actively engaged in a conference call—to ensure you are only being seen when you want to be seen.
2d. Omnidirectional Stereo Microphones: Built-in noise-reduction and echo-canceling technology helps you sound your best and allows others to focus on your voice.
2e. Universal Mounting Clip: Use this clip to mount your webcam directly onto your device.
3a. Open the clip by extending it away from the camera lens.
3b. Slide the camera into the desired position on your device (usually centered).
3c. Secure the back side of the clip to the back of your device.
3d. Ensure the webcam is secure and stable.
4a. Slide the Privacy Cover to the right to allow others to see you. 4b. Leave the Privacy Cover in this position when you are actively engaged in a video call.
5a. Manually swivel your webcam up to 360 degrees horizontally. 5b. Manually adjust up to 37 degrees vertically to help you get the most flattering angle.
