About This Variety: Included is one very large 19/+ cm Ziva Paperwhite bulb and a clear, sturdy, artisan glass
especially designed for this purpose.
Growing Instructions: Fill the special forcing glass with water to just below the area where the bulb will rest
(the bulb will reach for the water). Place the Paperwhite bulb in the cup, root end down and growing pointy end
up (growth may already be showing) so the base is barely touching the water. First place the vase in a cool dark
area (basement) to encourage root and shoot growth. When the shoots are about 2” tall move the vase to a bright
windowsill and watch as it begins its blooming ballet. Periodically change the water and keep the level at the base
of the bulb. As the flower stalks grows towards the light, rotate the glass frequently to prevent toppling. Sit back
and enjoy!
Care Tip: They are best rooted at cooler temperatures, below 60ºF. Once rooted, a somewhat warmer house
temperature is preferred. But not too hot or too dry an environment, as it may hinder flowering. Also, the less light
they receive, the taller they will grow.
Exposure: Full sun to partial shade
Height: Grows 12-24” tall
USDA Zones: Hardy in USDA zones 8-10
