Installation
1. Clean the pipe threads, and then apply pipe thread sealant to the male pipe threads. Do NOT use sealant on are tting ends as
this will prevent a good seal.
2. Form the connector into installation shape avoiding sharp or repeated bending.
3. Wrench-tighten the brass Safety+PLUS valve tting to the manual shut-off valve and the steel are union tting to appliance
pressure regulator. Use a second wrench to stabilize the shut-off valve and regulator during tightening.

WARNING
Do NOT connect the Safety+PLUS valve tting directly to the appliance pressure regulator. If installed at the appliance regulator, the Safety+ PLUS
valve tting will NOT operate properly and will NOT respond to excess gas ow.
WARNING
DO NOT TURN ON THE APPLIANCE UNTIL ALL CONNECTIONS ARE LEAK TESTED! DO NOT use a ame or another source of ignition to test for
leaks.
4. Wrench-tighten the captive connector nuts to the Safety+PLUS valve tting and steel tting. Use a second wrench to stabilize
the shut-off valve.
5. Turn on the gas supply and test all connections for leaks with the included leak detector solution. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak
is present, turn off the gas and tighten the connection further, then test the connections for leaks again.

Installation
1. Nettoyez les lets du tuyau, puis appliquez un enduit d’étanchéité pour letage de tuyau sur les lets mâles du tuyau. N’utilisez
PAS de scellant sur les extrémités des raccords évasés, car cela empêchera une bonne étanchéité.
2. Formez le connecteur pour l’installation en évitant de plier l’objet d’une courbe.
3. Serrez la clé du raccord de soupape Safety+PLUS en laiton à la vanne d’arrêt manuelle et le raccord évasé en acier au régulateur
de pression de l’appareil. Utilisez une deuxième clé pour stabiliser la soupape d’arrêt et le régulateur pendant le serrage.

AVERTISSEMENT
Ne connectez PAS le raccord de soupape Safety+PLUS directement au régulateur de pression de l’appareil. S’il est installé au régulateur de
l’appareil, le raccord de soupape Safety+PLUS ne fonctionnera PAS correctement et ne répondra PAS à un débit de gaz excessif.

4. Serrez les écrous de connecteur captifs au raccord de soupape Safety+PLUS et au raccord en acier. Utilisez une deuxième clé
pour stabiliser la soupape d’arrêt.
5. Allumez l’alimentation en gaz et testez tous les raccords pour déceler toute fuite avec la solution de détecteur de fuite incluse.
Les bulles indiquent une fuite. S’il y présence d’une fuite est présente, fermez le gaz et serrez le raccord davantage, puis testez
les connexions pour déceler toute fuite.

Instalación
1. Limpie las roscas de la tubería y luego aplique sellador para roscas de tuberías a las roscas macho de las tuberías. NO utilice

5. Abra el suministro de gas y pruebe todas las conexiones en busca de fugas con la solución del detector de fugas incluida. Las
burbujas indican una fuga. Si hay una fuga, cierre el gas y apriete más la conexión, luego pruebe las conexiones para detectar
