Equipmentandconnections:
FDI:
1. FromtheServiceMenuonthepanel:
Disablethedetectorloop.
2. Turnandliftofftheoldflamedetector
601Ffromitsbase.Unscrewtheblack
andredwirefromthescrewterminalsin
thedetectorbaseandremovethe
detectorbase.
3. Unscrewtheloopwiresfromthe
interfaceinthedetectorbase(FDI).
(Makeamark,orlabeleachwire,to
makesuretheyarereconnectedthe
samewayinBG201).
4. Removetheinterface(FDI).
5. InstallandconnecttheBG201.The
cablesaretobeconnectedthroughthe
glands.
6. Makesuretheinterfacesettingis
“Legacy”whichisthesettingfor601F
flamedetectorreplacement.Tomakeit
“Legacy”cutthepathonJ4.
7. AfterReplacement(s);enablethe
detectorloop.IfAutroprimepanelis
used,besuretosaveconfigurationand
restartthepanel.

Thevalueofthealarmresistorcanbedimensionedforcorrectalarmcurrentdependingonthepanel.Themostcommonly
usedalarmresistorsare470or680Ω(680providedfromAutronica).E.g.ina24Vloopsystema680Ωresistorwillresultin
alarmcurrentof35mA.
