Light Sensor
Only properly trained service personnel may perform installation and service
procedures. (In other words: electricians, service personnel employed by or active
in an organization, business, or service).
All power sources must be disconnected prior to wiring and installing.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage equipment and impair electrical
circuitry. ESD damage occurs when electronic components are improperly
handled and can result in complete or intermittent failures.
Warranty is void if the Legacy Connect is used in a manner not specied by the
manufacturer.
3 - NOTICES
Functional Ground Terminal. Primarily used for functional earth
terminals which are generally associated with test and measurement
circuits. These terminals are not for safety earthing purposes but provide
an earth reference point.
Protective Earth Ground Terminal. Primarily used for protective earth
terminals. These terminals connect to conductive parts of a device for
the purpose of safety and is intended to be connected to an external
system for protective grounding.
WARNING: Read the following text carefully; it contains important
information which, if ignored, may cause the controller to operate
improperly.
High Voltage. Hazard of electrical shock.

Continuous monitoring of light intensity is now possible with your EDGE® system.
The EDGE® Light Sensor kit includes a signal converter that must be wired between
the output of the sensor and the input of your EDGE system; requires EDGE software
version 2.5 or higher.
For optimum measurements, keep the light-sensitive area of the sensor free of
dust to ensure correct measurements. Place the sensor in the air path of an inlet
that opens rst, in order to minimize the build-up of dust on the sensor. In dusty
applications, the sensor should be mounted in a location that allows for cleaning.
The sensor should be placed in a position which is representative of the light level
in the house. Sunlight and objects obstructing internal lighting should be taken into
account during installation.

NOTES:
If a cables with shields are used, twist both shields from each cable together and use a marrette (twist-on wire connector) to secure the connection.
Make sure that the shield does not touch any other bare wire and the resistor.
AP/Cumberland recommends to add a heat shrink on it.
The maximum diameter of the cable must be less than 6.5 mm.
Cable glands must be correctly tightened to guarantee the sealing of the junction box.
Use the 4 screws included in the kit to close the cover on the junction box.
The wire color used in this drawing is only for reference, it can be dierent on the sensor.
Maximum volts should be set to 3.6V in the EDGE conguration page.
