INSTRUCTIONS:

1.)

Place

the end of the

unit

approximately

3

inches from

the

gas

outlet

on the

burner

(any

place along

the

burner

is

fine)

2.)Turn

on gas and

strike

the

igniter

immediately.

Remove

immediately

upon

ignition

of the

gas.

Do not

turn

on gas

before

accurately

placing

the

electrodes

in

the

appropriate

location

for

efficient

ignition.

Note

1:

Adjust distance from

2-4

inches

if

ignition

does

not

take

place upon

first

strike.

Hole

2: If it is

windy

outside, place

the

electrode

closer

to the gas

outlet

on the

burner.

Note

3:

Unit

is not

intended

to be

exposed

to the gas

flame

and

must

be

removed upon ignition

of the

gas.

Keeping

the

unit exposed

to the

flame

will

result

in

damage

to the

unit.

Note

4: Do not

insert

the

electrode

end or any

other

part

of the

unit

in any

flammable

mixture.

Note

5: If

exposed

to

water

or

left outside

for a

prolonged

period,

the

unit should still work properly.

However,

if the

unit does

not

function correctly,

simply hang

it in a

warm

dry

location overnight

and

test

the

next day.
