Keep your work area clean with sufficient light. Keep the area around the machine clear of
obstructions, grease, oil, rubbish and other debris which could cause persons to fall onto moving
parts.
INSPECT YOUR MACHINE
Check all bolts, nuts, and screws for tightness before each use, especially those securing guards and

resistant lenses; they are not safety glasses/goggles. Wear protective hair covering to contain long
hair, preventing it from getting caught in machinery.
AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Check that the electric circuit is adequately protected and that it corresponds with the power,
voltage and frequency of the motor. Check that there is a ground connection, and a regulation
differential switch further up the circuit. Ground the log splitter. Prevent body contact with
grounded surfaces: pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerator enclosures. Never open the push
button box on the motor. Should this be necessary, contact a qualified electrician. Make sure your
fingers do not touch the plug’s metal prongs when plugging or unplugging the machine.

Keep unauthorised persons a minimum distance of 10 metres away from the machine. If
approached, stop the machine immediately. Do not allow children to handle or climb on to the
machine. Do not allow a second person to assist in freeing a jammed log.
DO NOT OVERREACH
Keep proper footing and balance at all times when using the machine. Never stand on the machine.

OPERATION
DANGER
The product must only be put into operation if no defects are found. It is crucial that a defective
parts are replaced before the product is used again.
Check the safety equipment and the safe condition of the product:
Check all parts to make sure that they fit tightly.
Check whether there are any visible defects: broken parts, cracks, etc.
Before starting the product, make sure that there is no material in the hopper. Before feeding
material in, wait until the chipper has reached its working speed.
If the log to be cut is longer than the length of the sawing table, loosen the wing bolt & adjust
the length of the log rack to hold the log properly, and then tighten the wing bolt.
Put the power supply plug in the socket and turn on the motor switch.
Switch on = press green switch [I].
Switch off = press red switch [O].
Once the motor switch is turned on, the cutting blade will start to rotate.
Place the log on the work table.
Grip the handle at the back of the work table with both hands and push the work table towards
the moveable blade guard.
The moveable blade guard will open and show the cutting blade. Keep pushing evenly until the log
on the work table is cut.
Stop pushing & the work table will retract to its original position.
Move the rest of the log to the cutting position and continue the next cycle until your work is
complete.
To stop the machine, turn the motor switch off & wait until the cutting blade comes to a
complete standstill.
Remove the plug from the socket and clean the machine with a cloth.
MAINTENANCE
DANGER
Before all cleaning & maintenance work, switch the device off & disconnect the mains plug from
the electrical source. Wait until all moving parts have come to a complete stop & the device has
cooled.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Inspect the general condition of the entire product. Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding
of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
Remove all debris from the log bench with a soft brush, vacuum or compressed air.
Maintenance should be performed every time that the saw bench is used.
Always Check:
Nuts, bolts, & fittings make sure all are tight and secure.
Cutting blade conditions sharpen or replace a dull or damaged blade.
SHARPENING THE CUTTING BLADE
The saw-blade can be sharpened several times without removing it from the machine. Use a fine-cut
square-blade file of 8-12" for sharpening. During manual sharpening, only file the front rake of the
tooth over a distance of about 5- 7mm.
Always keep the original shape of the tooth. Do not make sharp notches at the root of the tooth with
the file.
Always clean the blade-clamps carefully. Check the blade carefully to ensure you are never sawing
with a cracked blade
REPLACING THE CUTTING BLADE
SAFETY GLOVES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.
Remove the plug from the socket to make
sure that the saw power is off. If the saw
has been used recently, wait until the
cutting blade cools down.
Loosen lock nut M10 and remove the
elastic collar to take off the pushing bar.
Loosen the 2 bolts in the triangle stand
fixed on the axle of the moveable blade
guard so that there is a gap between the
triangle stand and the blade guard.
Hold the front clamp with a large wrench
(A) to stop the rotation of the blade.
Loosen & remove the nut with a spanner
(B) & then take off the front clamp. Replace
the old cutting blade with the new one.
Remount the new cutting blade using the
reverse of the above procedure, making
sure that all nuts and bolts are tightened
down.
CLEANING
DANGER
Before all cleaning and maintenance work, switch the device off and disconnect the mains plug
from the electrical source. Wait until all moving parts have come to a complete stop and the
device is cooled off.
CLEANING THE DEVICE
Careful handling and regular cleaning ensure that the device will remain functional and powerful
for a long time.
Brush off coarse dirt.
Wipe down the device with a slightly damp cloth.
Never spray the device with water or subject it to water.
To clean, never use cleansers or solvents. This can cause irreparable damage to the device. The
plastic parts can be eaten away by the chemicals.
