INTENDED USAGE
The 12V Roadside Impact Wrench is designed to loosen or tighten vehicle lug
nuts. It is intended for occasional intermittent use, not commercial purposes.
WARNINGS
Read all safety warnings and instructions. Use the 12V Roadside Impact
Wrench in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool
for operations different than those intended could result in a hazardous
situation and serious injury.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.
Never leave the impact wrench unattended while connected to the 12V DC
socket.
Do not use the tool in potentially explosive environments containing
combustible liquids, gases or dust. Electrical tools generate sparks that can
ignite the dust or vapors.
Do not expose to water or use in rainy conditions to avoid risk of electrical
shock.
Do not use if there are any visible signs of damage to the wrench or the
power cord.

After tightening with the wrench, it is important to check the specified
torque by using a torque wrench. Consult your vehicle’s manual for
recommended torque specifications.
Do not overtighten lug nuts.
Do not overload the tool. Do not apply excessive pressure to the impact
wrench. If the nuts cannot be moved and the wrench freezes, stop
operation. Either use a more powerful tool or continue with a manual
wrench. Do not attempt to continue to turn the nuts manually with the
Roadside Impact Wrench.
Do not use the impact wrench continuously for more than 10 minutes.
Do not operate the tool without a load at full speed for any length of time.

OPERATION
Start the engine before operating the wrench. Keep the engine running while
using. Unplug impact wrench from 12V DC socket when not in use.
Switch operation
For loosening lug nuts, press the side of the switch marked “L
For tightening lug nuts, press the side of the switch marked “T”
To power off, simply release the switch
IMPORTANT: After tightening with the wrench, it is important to check the
specified torque by using a torque wrench. Consult your vehicle’s manual
for recommended torque specifications.

between the tire and the ground

Insert the 12V power plug into the vehicle’s power socket.
Attach an appropriately sized socket to the ½" square drive anvil.
Place the socket onto the lug nut and press the side of the switch with “L
mark to start loosening the lug nuts.
The motor starts and after a short warm-up time, the impact wrench gives a
pulse to the socket.
Repeat for remaining lug nuts until they are loose.
Tighten Lug Nuts
Put the wheel into position and hand-tighten the lug nuts prior to tightening
with the wrench. This helps avoid cross threading the lug nut.
Press the side of the switch with “T” mark to start tightening the lug nuts.
The lug nut will be tight enough when 4-5 clicks are heard. DO NOT over
tighten.
Tighten the nuts in a star pattern.
IMPORTANT: After tightening with the wrench, it is important to check the
specified torque by using a torque wrench. Consult your vehicle’s manual
for recommended torque specifications.
PRODUCT CARE
Handle the tool and accessories with care and keep them clean to ensure a
long service life.
Do not make any modifications to the tool. Repairs to the tool or power cord
should be carried out by an authorized service technician.
Disconnect the plug from the cigarette lighter before cleaning parts of the
tool, or if there is a problem with the tool.
Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based products for cleaning.
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the tool clean.

Prevent oil or oil products from entering the plastic casing. The chemicals
they contain could corrode or damage the plastic. Grease and oil-based
grime must be immediately wiped off the tool and accessories with a
slightly damp cloth.
Store idle power tools out of reach of children and do not allow people
unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions operate it. Power tools
are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Disposal of this product should only be done in accordance with the current
regulations.
REPLACING THE FUSE IN THE 12V DC PLUG
1. Twist off the upper cover of the 12V DC plug.
2. Remove the faulty fuse.
3. Insert a new fuse of the same type (a spare fuse is included in the case)
4. Twist the cover back onto the plug.

Warranty Performance:
During the warranty period, a product with a defect will be replaced with a
comparable model when the product is returned to WAGAN Corporation with an
original store receipt. WAGAN Corporation will, at its discretion, replace or repair
the defective part. The replacement product will be warranted for the balance of the
original warranty period. This warranty does not extend to any units which have
been used in violation of written instructions furnished.
