Power Fist 8651648 is a 25W soldering iron ideal for general-purpose soldering, with a temperature rating of 420 to 450°C. It comes with a specially plated tip that should never be filed.

To use the soldering iron, first file off any dirt, rust, or paint on the part you wish to solder, heat the part with the soldering iron, and apply rosin-based solder to the part, melting it with the soldering iron.

Wait for the solder to cool and harden before moving the soldered part.

Note: When using non-rosin-based solder, be sure to apply a soldering paste to the part before applying the solder.

The iron may be cleaned with a damp cloth using small amounts of liquid detergent.
