Quick Guide to Using Nokia Cellular Data Suite with Winfax Pro for

Windows95 version 7

Installing and setting up

For installing the Delrina Winfax Pro for Windows95 (later called Winfax in this document) follow the

instructions of the installation guide of the Winfax. After the installation restart your computer.

In Setup- menu à Modem… you can choose the right modem, choose the ‘Nokia GSM Data-fax’ from

the list (figure 1). Other settings can be left to the default.

When you push Set as active at the first time, the Winfax want to recognise the modem (figure 2).

When the queering is completed the Winfax should give a following result (figure 3).

After queering the Winfax is ready to send faxes with Nokia Cellular Data Suite.

Sending / Making a connection

To send a fax click Fax- button or choose New Fax… from the Send menu. You get the following

window (figure 4) to which you can type in the required information, e.g. the name and fax number of the

recipient. If you want to send just a quick note, click the white area below Cover Page and write the note

into it. When you have finished, click Send to send the fax.

You can also send a fax directly from another application, such as Word for Windows, by choosing the

printer as WinFax on FAXMODEM and after that just simply printing the document. After you have

chosen Print at another application, Delrina WinFax PRO Send Dialog Box will open. Fill in the required

information, at least the recipient fax number and click the Send, and your fax will be sent.

Receiving

You can use either automatic or manual fax receiving. For automatic receiving choose Automatic

Receive in Receive menu. You can determine receiving settings in Setup-Receive menu (e.g. the

number or the rings required before Winfax will answer an incoming fax call (figure 5). If you want to use

manual receiving, choose Manual Receive Now in Receive menu when you get an incoming fax call.
