GENERAL INFORMATION
FFGC - FLEXIBLE GASLINE
CONNECTOR KIT
This flexible gasline connector kit is designed to aid in attaching gas
fireplaces to the gas supply. This kit can only be used where local codes
permit.
The components in this kit are rated for both natural and liquified pe-
troleum gases.
See Figure 1, below, for a description of the components provided in
the kit. The kit also contains these instructions.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLEXIBLE GASLINE CONNECTOR KIT
(CATALOG NO. 93L32, MODEL NO. FFGC) FOR USE WITH IHP GAS FIREPLACES
Step 1. Shut off the gas and the electrical power supply to the fireplace
before proceeding.
Make leak-free connections as detailed below -
Step 2. Attach the 3/8” NPT end of the fitting provided in the kit to the
fireplace gas valve.
Step 3. Attach the flexible connector to the 3/8” flare end of this fitting.
Step 4. Route the flexible connector carefully around any obstructions
in the control compartment towards the roughed-in gas supply
line.
Step 5. Finish bringing the gas supply line to within reach of the flexible
gas connector and attach the shutoff valve to the gas supply
line and then the flexible gas connector to it.
Step 6. Proceed with the fireplace installation as detailed in the instal-
lation and operation manual provided with it.
