Introduction
Thank you for using the ESET Direct Endpoint Management plugin for Datto RMM.
This plugin is developed by ESET in cooperation with Datto RMM to deploy, manage and report on ESET endpoint
products within your Datto RMM administrator account.
System Requirements
ESET Direct Endpoint Management plugin for Datto RMM must be installed on your administrator account.
RMM components have been developed to work with ESET endpoint products version 7.x and later without
the need for a remote management tool.
The remote management server is not required, but the administrator can use it in conjunction with ESET
Direct Endpoint Management plugin for Datto RMM for additional functionality. In that case, policies need to
be pushed from the remote management server. ESET provides ESET PROTECT—a remote management server.
Endpoint devices are required to have .NET Framework version 4.0.3 or later.
Requirements for ESET products:
oWindows
ESET Endpoint Security 7.x, 8.x, 9.x, 10.x
ESET Endpoint Antivirus 7.x, 8.x, 9.x, 10.x
ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server 8.0, 9.0
ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server 8.0, 9.0
omacOS
ESET Endpoint Security for macOS 6.1x
ESET Endpoint Antivirus for macOS 6.1x, 7.x
oLinux
ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Linux 8.x, 9.0
ESET Server Security for Linux 8.1, 9.0
