First carefully read the instruction manual in full prior
to using the appliance and store the manual in a safe place
for future reference.
• Only use this appliance for the purposes described in the
instruction manual.
• Only connect the appliance to alternate current, with a mains
voltage that corresponds with the information provided on the
information plate of the appliance.
• Never bend the power cord sharply or allow it to run across
hot parts.
• Fully unwind the cord to prevent it from overheating.
• Never place the appliance near appliances that give off heat,
such as ovens, gas cookers, hotplates, etc. Keep the appliance
away from walls or other objects that could catch flame,
such as curtains, towels (cotton or paper, etc.).
• Never place anything on top of the appliance.
• Never cover the air inlets and outlets.
• Do not insert fingers or objects in the openings of the appliance.
• This appliance should only be used with the provided cooling
elements.
• Always make sure the appliance is placed on an even,
flat surface. The surface should never be a sloping surface.
• Only use the appliance indoors.
• Do not leave the appliance unsupervised if the appliance
is operational.
• If you want to move the appliance, make sure the appliance
is switched off.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, cord or appliance are
damaged, or if the appliance no longer functions properly or
if it is damaged in any other way. If this is the case, consult the
retailer or our maintenance service.
• If the cord of the appliance is damaged, it should be replaced
by the manufacturer, his customer service or a similarly qualified
person in order to prevent hazardous situations.

• Never replace the plug or cord yourself. Repairs to electrical
appliances should only be performed by skilled persons.
Incorrect repairs may expose the user to serious hazards.
• Never use the appliance with parts that are not recommended
or supplied by the manufacturer.
• Do not pull the cord and/or appliance to remove the plug from
the socket. Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
• Never connect the appliance to an external timer or a separate
remote control system, in order to prevent hazardous situations.
• Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Children do not
see the dangers associated with handling electrical appliances.
Therefore, never allow children to operate electrical appliances
without supervision. Keep the appliance and cord out of reach
of children younger than 8 years of age.
• The appliance can be used by children of 8 years and older and
persons with a limited physical, sensory or mental capacity or
lack of experience or knowledge, provided they use the appliance
under supervision or have been instructed about its safe use and
understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• The appliance may not be cleaned or maintained by children,
unless this is done under supervision.
• If the appliance is not being used or is being cleaned, fully
switch off the appliance by removing the plug from the socket.
• Extension cords may only be used if the mains voltage (see the
information plate) and capacity are identical to or higher than
that of the appliance. Always use an approved extension cord.
Never submerge the appliance, cord or plug in water.
This appliance is intended for household and similar use, such as:
- in staff kitchens, shops, offices and other work environments;
- by guests of hotels, motels and other residential environments;
- in Bed&Breakfast type environments;
- farms.
• If the appliance is not used as intended, no compensation can
be claimed in case of defects or accidents and the warranty will
be invalidated.
If you decide to stop using the appliance, due to a defect,
we recommend cutting through the cord, after removing the
plug from the socket. Bring the appliance to the respective
waste processing department of your municipality.

Follow these instructions when using the appliance for the first time: Carefully unpack the air cooler and all accessories
and remove all packaging material and any promotional stickers.
Keep the packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children.
After unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport.
Place the appliance on a sturdy, flat surface and make sure there is enough space all around for sufficient ventilation.
Check that all mentioned accessories have been supplied.
Clean the air cooler with a slightly damp cloth.
Prior to connecting the appliance, check that:
the connection voltage corresponds with what is stated on the information plate;
the socket and cord are suitable for the appliance;
the plug of the cord fits in the socket;
the appliance is placed on a stable and flat surface.
A mobile air cooler must be placed on a flat surface with sufficient room all around. Do not block the air inlets and outlets
and ensure a free space of minimum 30 cm around the appliance.
Fill the supplied cooling elements with water once. Close the cooling elements. The water in the cooling elements never
needs to be replaced. Place the cooling elements in the freezer until they are completely frozen.
Caution: the water in the cooling elements is not suitable for consumption. Only use the cooling elements in the air cooler.
The cooling elements are not suitable for use as water bottles or other similar purposes.

In addition to cooling, the air cooler has two other modes, i.e. ventilation and air humidification.
The air cooler can be operated via the control panel on the appliance and with the provided remote control.
Choose a location near a socket.
Insert the plug in a socket.
The appliance gives a short beep sound.
The indicator light
lights up and the appliance is standby.
VENTILATION
The ventilation position can be set to different speeds.
Switch on the appliance using the ON/OFF key.
The indicator light for the lowest speed
lights up.
Change the ventilation speed with each press on the button SPEED: low, medium or high.
COOLING
The appliance is able to cool the air flow by adding cold water in the water tank. Create additional cool air by placing a frozen
cooling element in the water in the water tank. The appliance is supplied with two cooling elements, so you can use them
alternately and the appliance is able to cool continuously.
Caution: only use this mode when the water tank is provided with fresh cold water.

TIMER
Press the timer key to start the timer. The time period is increased in steps of 30 minutes when you repeatedly press this
key, up to a maximum of 7½ hours.
If, for example, you want to set the air cooler for 5½ hours, you must press down this key until the indicator lights
0.5h + 1h + 4h = 5½ hours light up.
All indicator lights switch off when the entire programme has been completed.
If you want to stop the timer mode or set a new time, you must continue to press the timer key until all indicator lights are off.
When the appliance is on, the timer can be used to switch off the appliance automatically at the required time within the
range from 30 minutes to 7½ hours.
Turn the lock lever of the tank to a horizontal position and carefully pull the water
tank out of the appliance to fill it. Fill the water tank with fresh cold water and make
sure that the water level in the water tank does not exceed the maximum level (MAX).
If you place a frozen cooling element in the water tank, make sure the water level does
not exceed the maximum level.
Place the water tank back in the original position and turn the lock lever to the vertical
position.
Switch on the appliance using the ON/OFF key.
The indicator light for the lowest speed
lights up.
Press the mode key COOLER/HUMIDIFY. The indicator light lights up red.
Change the ventilation speed with each press on the button SPEED: low, medium or high.

Always use fresh cold water.
Make sure the water in the water tank does not come below the minimum level (MIN) when using the cooling
or air humidification mode.
HUMIDIFICATION
The appliance is able to humidify the indoor air and thus create a healthy living environment. For a healthy indoor
living climate, the air humidity should be between 40% and 60%. If the air humidity is lower, use the appliance with
the mode HUMIDIFY
.
Caution: only use this mode when the water tank is provided with fresh cold water.
Turn the lock lever of the tank to a horizontal position and carefully pull the water tank out of the appliance to fill it. Fill the water
tank with fresh cold water and make sure that the water level in the water tank does not exceed the maximum level (MAX).
Place the water tank back in the original position and turn the lock lever to the vertical position.
Switch on the appliance using the ON/OFF key.
The indicator light for the lowest speed
lights up.
Press the mode key COOLER/HUMIDIFY 2 x. The indicator light
lights up blue.
The speed of the ventilation cannot be changed when using this mode and is always at the lowest speed.
Extra instructions
Always use fresh cold water.
Make sure the water in the water tank does not come below the minimum level (MIN) when using the cooling or air
humidification mode.
SWING MODE
By means of the swing mode you can determine the back and forth movements of the fins for a better air displacement.
Switch on the appliance at the required mode (cooling, ventilation or humidify).
Press the swing key
and the fins move to the left and right continuously.
The up and down wind direction can be adjusted manually.

Before cleaning the air cooler, you must switch it off by means of the on/off button and remove the plug from the socket.
Cleaning the exterior
Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth or sponge. If necessary, you can clean the exterior of the appliance
by means of a mild washing-up liquid.
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning the appliance.
Dry the exterior of the appliance.
Never submerge the appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning the air filter
In order to allow the air cooler to function as well as possible, we recommend cleaning the air filter regularly. The air filter
could get clogged with dust and dirt.
Unscrew the air filter at the rear of the appliance and remove it from the appliance.
Clean the air filter with a mild detergent in lukewarm water (approx. 40°C). Then properly rinse clean the air filter with
clean water and allow it to dry in the air. Do not place the air filter in the sun or on the heating to dry it.
Place the air filter back in the appliance. Check that it is fully dry, before using the air cooler again.
Cleaning the ventilation grilles
In order to allow the air cooler to function as well as possible, you can clean the ventilation grilles by means of a vacuum
cleaner with a soft brush nozzle.
Cleaning the water absorbing filter
When you have removed the air filter, you can also remove the water absorbing filter. Remove the water absorbing filter from
the holder, clean it with clean water and a soft brush and then carefully place it back in the holder. Do not use detergents,
as they can affect the water absorbing filter.
Cleaning the water tank
Remove the water tank from the appliance and carefully disconnect the pump from the water tank. Throw away any water
that is still present in the water tank and clean the tank with a soft detergent and warm water. Properly rinse with clean water
and dry. Fasten the pump in the holder again and place the water tank back in the appliance.

We do not need to remind you of the importance of service. After all, we develop our products to a standard so that
you can enjoy them for many years, without any concerns. If, nevertheless, there is a problem, we believe you are
entitled to a solution straight away. Hence our products come with an exchange service, on top of the rights and
claims you are entitled to by law. By exchanging a product or part, we save you time, effort and costs.
2-year full manufacturer’s warranty
1. Customers enjoy a 2-year full manufacturer’s warranty on all Inventum products. Within this period, a faulty product
or part will always be exchanged for a new model, free of charge. In order to claim under the 2-year full manufacturer’s
warranty, you can either return the product to the shop you bought it from or contact the Inventum customer service
department via the form at www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag.
2. The 2-year warranty period starts from the date the product is bought.
3. In order to claim under the warranty, you must produce a copy of the original receipt.
4. The warranty applies only to normal domestic use of Inventum products within the Netherlands.
Breakdowns or faults outside the warranty period
1. Breakdowns or faults in small or large domestic appliances outside the warranty period, can be reported to the customer
services department via the form at www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag or by calling the customer services department.
2. The customer services department may ask you to send the product for inspection or repair. The costs of dispatch will
be at your expense.
3. The inspection to establish whether repair is possible involves a charge. You need to grant your permission for this,
in advance.
4. In the event of a large domestic appliance, Inventum, at your request, can send out a service engineer. In that case,
you will be charged the call-out costs, as well as parts and labour.
5. In the event of an instruction to repair, the repair costs must be paid in advance. In the event of a repair by a service
engineer, the costs of the repair must be settled with the engineer on site, preferably by means of PIN payment.
Warranty exclusions
1. The following is excluded from the aforesaid warranties:
• normal wear and tear;
• improper use or misuse;
• insufficient maintenance;
• failure to comply with the operating and maintenance instructions;
• unprofessional installation or repairs by third parties or the customer himself;
• non-original parts used by the customer;
• use for commercial or business purposes;
• removal of the serial number and/or rating label.
2. In addition, the warranty does not apply to normal consumer goods, such as:
• dough hooks, baking tins, (carbon) filters, etc.;
• batteries, bulbs, carbon filters, fat filters etc.;
• external connection cables;
• glass accessories and glass parts such as oven doors;
• and similar items.
3. Transport damage not caused by Inventum is also excluded. Therefore, inspect your new device before starting to use
it. If you detect any damage, you must report this to the store where you purchased the product within 5 working days,
or to the Inventum customer service department via the form at www.inventum.eu/service-aanvraag. If transport damage
is not reported within this period, Inventum does not accept any liability in this respect.
4. The following are excluded from warranty and/or replacement: faults, loss of and damage to the device as a result
of an event that is normally insured under the home contents insurance.
Important to know
1. The replacement or repair of a faulty product, or a part thereof, does not lead to an extension of the original warranty period.
2. If a complaint is unfounded, all costs arising from it will be at the customer’s expense.
3. Following expiry of the warranty period, all costs of repair or replacement, including administration costs, dispatch and call-out
charges, will be charged to the customer.
4. Inventum cannot be held liable for damage caused by external events, unless this liability arises from mandatory
statutory provisions.
5. These warranty and service provisions are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be settled exclusively by the competent
Dutch court.
