WARNING:

IMPORTANT! WIRING SAFETY
(For UK Use Only) As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, please proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue [N] Neutral
Brown [L] Live
Plug Fitting Details (where applicable)
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must be connected to the
terminal marked [N] or coloured black. The wire coloured brown is
the live wire and must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or
coloured red. On no account must either the brown or the blue wire be
connected to the [E] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the same rating already fitted and
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If in doubt consult a
qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the
mains lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA
approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this
for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it from the mains - and
then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely.
Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there
is a danger of an electric shock.

PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION
Check that the voltage of the main circuit corresponds with the rating
of the appliance before operating.
Please ensure that the appliance is used on a stable, level, and heat
resistant surface.
Do not immerse cords, plugs or any part of the appliance in water or
any other liquid.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children or pets.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Switch off at the wall socket then remove the plug from the socket
when not in use or before cleaning.
If the supply cord or appliance is damaged, stop using the appliance
immediately and seek advice from the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let it
come into contact with any hot surfaces.
The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer, apart from those supplied with this product.
Do not pull the plug out by the cord as this may damage the plug and/
or the cable.
Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use.
This appliance is for household use only.
Do not carry the appliance by the power cord.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse in water or other liquids or use
near washbasins or sinks any part of the motor assembly. Ensure that
the appliance base does not get wet (water splashes etc.) and do not
operate it with wet hands.
Always fully unwind any cord to avoid overheating.
WARNING! Ensure adequate ventilation; keep an open space of
approximately 20 cm all around the appliance.

as curtains, or other combustible material.

The appliance is fitted with a safety thermal cut-out device and will shut
off in the event of overload. If this occurs, switch the appliance off and
it will automatically reset when cool.
Never use your fingers or an object (e.g. a spatula) to push ingredients
down the feeding tube while the appliance is running. Only use the
pusher for this purpose.
Be very careful when you handle the discs, blender blade unit or food
processor blade unit. Be especially careful when you remove them
from the food processor bowl or blender jar, when you empty the bowl
or jar and when you clean them. These are extremely sharp and may
cause injury if handled incorrectly. Always store blades and cutting
discs in their respective covers or processing containers.
Do not exert too much pressure on the pusher when you press
ingredients down the feeding tube.
Unplug from power outlet before putting on or taking off attachments,
and before cleaning.
Do not put hot liquids into the food processor bowl. Warm liquids only.
Avoid contacting moving parts at all times.
Place the processor bowl, Juicer Bowl and Blender Bowl onto the
base of the processor before fitting any attachments.
All blades and attachments should be removed with care before
cleaning.
Do not over fill the processor. Do not fill the bowl beyond the MAX
indication.
Always remove the blade before emptying

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. This appliance has been packaged carefully to ensure the product
reaches you in good condition. If the product has been damaged,
dropped, has a malfunction in any way, or if the supply cord is
damaged, immediately contact your retailer for replacement or repair.
2. Carefully unpack your appliance. Make sure you do not discard any
packaging material until all parts of the appliance have been found.
3. Carefully wipe the exterior of the appliance to remove any dust
that may have accumulated. Dry with a dry towel. Do not use harsh
abrasive cleaners. Remove any label or sticker.
4. This appliance is fitted with Built-in safety lock, this feature ensures
that you can only switch on the appliance if you have assembled the
food processor bowl, the blender jar with blade unit, the juicer bowl
with coupling unit or the citrus press correctly on the motor unit. If
the food processor bowl, blender jar with blade unit, the juicer bowl
with coupling unit or the citrus press is assembled correctly, i.e. when
it has been turned in the direction of the ‘locked’ symbol as far as
possible, the built-in safety lock will be unlocked.
5. Wash the accessories in warm soapy water, dry with a dry towel.
6. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE:
ASSEMBLY OF YOUR APPLIANCE
Before you assemble the food processor, ensure that the power cord is
unplugged.
1. Place the motor base facing you on a dry, level surface.
2. Place the processing bowl onto the motor base, the bowl will only
sit correctly on the base when the handle is positioned to the right.
(Fig.1)
3. Rotate the handle clockwise to lock,as indicated by the graphics on
the left side of the motor base. (Fig.2)
4. Position the lid onto the processing bowl. You will notice a solid
arrow to the left of the holding lip on the lid, when placing the lid
onto the bowl this arrow needs to align with the solid arrow on the
handle of the bowl. To lock, turn the lid clockwise. As indicated by
the graphics on the top of the handle. (Fig.3)
IMPORTANT: If the processing bowl and cover are not correctly
assembled, the Food Processor will not operate. This is a safety feature.
Using your food processor
1. Plug the power cord into an AC power outlet and you will notice the
Power button on the Control panel will stay lit Blue all the time.
2. Use the adjusting - speed control Knob to start Processing.

3. The Pulse function remains on as long as the Pulse button is
pressed down.
4. Ice Button perfect for Ice Crusher,
5. Smoothie Button, it can work as long as 60s.
6. Further ingredients can also be added whilst processing by pouring
through the feed tube once the food pusher has been removed.
Note: For maximum control when using your food processor, before
turning on your food processor load the feed tube. Always use the food
pusher for more evenly processed foods and never push with your
fingers.

Fitting/Using The Tools On Food Processor
Note: All attachments must be firmly attached to the spindle. Always
adjust the attachments until you are sure that they are correctly fitted.
Placing the spindle
1. Fit the spindle onto the drive shaft. (Fig.4)
UNIVERSAL ‘S’ BLADE
1. Fit the processor bowl and spindle as detailed previously in
(Fig. 1, 2 & 4)

2. Fit the universal ‘s’ blade over the spindle and press firmly into
place. (Fig.5)
Warning: Use caution, as blades are sharp. Always handle the
processing blade by its central plastic section.
3. Place food into the processing bowl.
4. Fit the processing cover to the processing bowl, (Fig.3) and place
the food pusher in the feed tube.
5. Plug the power cord into power outlet and turn the power ‘ON’.
6. Start processing using the adjusting control Knob, Smoothie Button
or Pulse buttons.
7. When processing is complete, remove the spindle and blade from
the processing bowl before removing the processed food.
REVERSIBLE GRATING/SHAVING, SHREDDING SLICING DISC
AND JULIENNE DISCS
1. Fit the processor bowl and spindle as detailed previously,
(Fig. 1, 2 & 4)
2. Select the ‘Reversible’ disc of your choice - Shredding (fine or
coarse), Grating/Shaving or the dedicated Julienne disc, Slicing
disc.
3. Fit the disc over the spindle and press firmly into place, (Fig.6)
Warning: Use caution as the blades are sharp.
4. Fit the processing cover to the processing bowl as previously shown
in (Fig.3) and place the food pusher in the feed tube.
5. Plug the power cord into power outlet and turn the power ‘ON’.
6. Start processing
7. When processing is complete, remove the disc and spindle from the
processing bowl before removing the processed food.

SIEVE FOR CITRUS PRESS AND CONE FOR
CITRUS PRESS
1. Fit the processor bowl and spindle as detailed
previously, (Fig. 1, 2 & 4)
2. Fit the Sieve over the spindle and press firmly
into place.
3. If all parts have been assembled properly, the
cone starts rotating as soon as you turn the
switch to the minimum speed setting.
4. Set the control knob to the minimum speed
setting.
5. Press the citrus fruit onto the cone.
6. Note: Stop pressing from time to time to remove
the pulp from the sieve.
7. When you have finished pressing or when you
want to remove the pulp, switch off the appliance
and remove the bowl from the appliance with the
sieve and cone on it.
BALLOON BEATER
You can use the balloon beater to whip cream, to whisk eggs and egg
whites and to make instant pudding, mayonnaise and sponge cake
mixture.
Do not use the balloon beater to prepare cake mixtures with butter or
margarine or to knead dough. Use the kneading accessory for these
jobs
Do not fill the bowl beyond the MAX indication.
Make sure the bowl and the balloon beater are dry and free from
grease when you whisk egg whites. The egg whites have to be at room
temperature. Always clean the balloon beater after use.

JUICER
Never insert your hand or another object (e.g. a fork,
knife, spoon or spatula) into the feeding tube. Only
use the pusher supplied with the appliance for this
purpose. Wait until the sieve has completely stopped
rotating before you remove the lid.
1. Always check the sieve before use. Do not use
the juicer if you notice any damage like cracks,
crazes or a loose grating disc.
2. The standard processing time for all juicing jobs
is 30-90 seconds.
3. Peel citrus fruits, pineapples, melons, etc. before
you juice them.
4. Stone cherries, plums, apricots, peaches, etc.
before you juice them.
5. Pour the dregs away in time. If not, it will cause
damage to the machine.

BLENDER
Always assemble the sealing ring onto the blender
blade unit before you attach the blade unit to the
blender jar.
Always let the appliance cool down to room
temperature after you have processed two
batches.
Never open the lid when the blade rotates.
BUILT-IN SAFETY LOCK:
You can only switch on the appliance when the
blender jar has been assembled in such a way
that the ridge on the blade unit is aligned with the
‘locked’ symbol on the motor unit.
To add liquid ingredients during processing,
remove the measuring cup and pour them into
the blender jar through the hole in the lid.
Pre-cut solid ingredients into smaller pieces
before you process them.
If you want to prepare a large quantity, process small batches of
ingredients instead of a large quantity at once.
Use cooked ingredients when you blend a soup.
When you process a liquid that is hot or tends to foam (e.g. milk),
do not put more than 1 litre in the blender jar to avoid spillage.
If you are not satisfied with the result, switch off the appliance and
stir the ingredients with a spatula. Remove some of the contents to
process a smaller quantity or add some liquid.
The maximum is 800 grams for each times when mixing flour
If ingredients stick to the wall of the blender jar:
1. Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
2. Remove the lid and use a spatula to remove the ingredients from the
wall of the jar.
3. Keep the spatula at a safe distance of approx. 2cm from the blades.

NOTE:
Regular maintenance of your appliance will keep it safe and in proper
operational order.
Before Cleaning always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.
Wash removable parts in warm, soapy water then rinse and dry all parts.
Regularly clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth and
dry with a dry towel.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the appliance do not use harsh
solvents, alkaline cleaning agents, abrasive cleansers or scouring agents
of any kind when cleaning.
Do not immerse the motor unit or supply cord in water.
Damage Check
Always check that the appliance is in good working order and that all
removable parts are secure. Check the power supply cord and plug
regularly for cuts or damage.
Store in a Safe Place
When not in use store your appliance and all its accessories and
instruction manual in a safe and dry place.
