I re-installed my app and my light Database is gone. What
happened? What should I do?
If you delete the app, all registered lamps are removed. Reinstall the app and be sure to
re-type the previous password, reset all the lamps by selecting Setting-Self Repair, and
then add the lamps by selecting Setting-lamp.
How can I set the timer function?
To set the timer, add lamps to a Lighting fixture and select Lighting in the Main window.
In the Lighting screen, tap the Settings button. The Lighting Settings window appears. In
the Lighting Settings window, tap the Timer to set up the timer. Set the time and mode,
tap the Start button in the Lighting Settings window, and the lamps will turn on at the
specified time. (If you control the Lighting after setting up the timer, the timer setting is
cancelled.)
How can I reactivate my timer?
Tap the Start button again in the Lighting Settings screen or select the More menu and
then the Options-Timer menu item in the main screen in order to reactivate the timer.
How can I set the incoming call function?
To set up the Incoming Call feature, add the lamps to a Lighting fixture and select the
Lighting fixture in the main screen. In the Lighting screen, tap the Settings button to
move to the Lighting Settings window. In the Lighting Settings window, tap on Incoming
Call in order to set up the Incoming Call setting.
First, select the phone number to generate an event when it arrives. Second, select one
mode to determine whether to change the color temperature or brightness. Then, after
completing the setting, activate the feature by selecting 'Option->Incoming Call' or
tapping the Lighting fixture button in the Lighting Settings window.
How can I set the shaking to turn on function?
You can activate the 'Shake to turn on' feature by selecting 'Option->Shake to turn on'
or activating the feature in the Lighting Settings window. There are no additional
settings for this feature.
How can I set the daylight mode function?
The Daylight feature changes the light color and brightness of the lamps according to
the brightness of the sky during the period of time specified between 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
You can activate this feature by selecting Mode-Daylight.
When would I perform a factory reset of the smart lamp?
You can use the Factory-Reset function by selecting Settings->Self Repair.
You should use this function when lamps can not be controlled or added, or lamps are
not deleted or added in the Settings-lamp menu. After the reset, you have to turn the
power off and on from as close to the lamps as possible. The reset may fail, and if it
does, you must try to perform a reset 2 to 3 times.
How do I remove one of the lamps?
You can remove a lamp by selecting Settings -> lamp. You must delete a lamp to add
the lamp to another Smartphone and control it.
I can not identify or connect my smart lamps. What should I do?
The Smartphone's Bluetooth function or lamps may not be working properly. Restart
your phone or turn the power off and on to the lamps. If you still can not connect to
the lamps, make sure you have the most up to date operating system and software. If it
still does not work, please contact customer support.
Can the smart lamp wake me up in the morning?
Yes it can. You can use the timer feature to either have the lamps turn on at a specific
time in the morning or to gradually come on over a specified period of time (3 minutes
to 30 minutes).
Are there other apps that work with the smart lamps?
You can only control them with the SAMSUNG SMART LED LAMP APP at present and
which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
How can I ensure other smart devices can't control my lamps?
Access to the app is password restricted. Only if the password is shared with other
users who have the app installed on their smart device will they be able to access and
control the lamp(s).

How do I prevent my lighting control from being hacked? Set a password difficult enough to ensure a proper level of security.
After turning the power off manually using a switch, will the
lamp reset itself?
No, the lamp will turn on to the last setting it was at prior to being switched off
manually.
Does the app show all the registered lamps specific to that
device regardless of the location, i.e- Office and Home
Yes, the current version of the app will display all the lamps registered to that smart
device regardless of whether they are connected or not.
Can I change the color or intensity of the light when I do the
"Shake to turn on" function?
When the Shake to turn on function runs, the specified lamp(s) will always turn on at a
dim warm white color, there is no way to change the setting.
Can I delete a lamp when I don’t have the lamp?
When you delete a lamp on your Smartphone, you can only do so when the lamp has
power. If you do not delete the lamp before someone else takes ownership, they will
not be able to register the lamp themselves unless the other person enters the
password used to register the lamp on the new device and then go into settings, select
Self Repair and then re-register the lamp.
When I terminate the app and then run the app, the app
continues searching with the "A Connection is being requested"
message.
The connection may fail due to a Smartphone Bluetooth or lamp communication failure.
This is not a problem. However, if the symptom continues, check for an upgrade in
either your operating system or the app software and then turn the lamp off then back
on.
The wake-up time can be set in units of 10 minutes. Is it right? Currently, 10 minute intervals is the only option.
When using the shake feature, the lamp doesn't turn on, is there
a way to change the sensitivity?
A menu allowing a sensitivity setting is scheduled to be supported in the future.
An error occurs from time to time due to a communications
failure.
The operation of the app is affected by the communications environment. If this is the
case, upgrade the smart device operating system to the latest version or turn the lamp
off and on.
When I cancel the process while setting up the password and
then set it up again, a message appears saying that the
password is different from the previous one.
The app is designed to always show a warning message when the user sets up a new
security code because once the security code is saved, and the user changes it, the
lamps can not be controlled.
I can not cancel and exit the Lighting Settings menu.
Pressing the back button in the Lighting Settings menu screen automatically saves the
changes. The app is designed so that the change can not be cancelled.
