Welcome

Thank you for purchasing the new Fan heater SY-CLV30. In order to fully benefit

from this product, please read these instructions carefully. Store the user manual

in a safe place for future reference.

Important Safeguards

• When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric

shock, and/or injury, these basic safety precautions should always be followed:

• Before inserting the mains plug into the socket, check that the mains supply

• voltage and current rating correspond with the power supply details shown on

the model label of the appliance.

• Read all instructions carefully, even if you feel you are quite familiar with this

type of appliance.

• Unplug the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the device to

cool down before putting on or taking off parts.

• Do not use the heater near furniture, curtains, shelves, etc..

• Do not use the heater near close to any liquids or inflammable products.

• Do not place the heater below a socket outlet.

• Do not cover the heater while it is on to avoid overheating risks.

• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the

appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.

• The use of accessories or any other attachments not recommended by the

appliance manufacturer may cause injuries and invalidate the running warranty.

• Do not use this appliance outdoor or near direct heat sources.

• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or be in contact

with hot surfaces or to be situated underneath or close to curtains, window

coverings, etc.

• This appliance should only be used for domestic purpose.

• This appliance should be placed on a flat and stable surface.

• Do not expose the appliance to water or moisture.

• To prevent damage to the power cord, always keep it away from sharp edges

or corners.

• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously

supervised.

• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the

appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal

operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,

regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without

supervision.

• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

• appliance.

• Check the correct operation at all times. Do not leave the heater running alone

in a room with people with reduced mobility, mental disabilities, children or

animals.

• Do not use the appliance with wet hands or connect the switch whilst your

hands are wet.

• Do not repair the appliance by yourself in case of any malfunction. Contact

Heatzilla technical service department for a proper repair.

• All electrical work must only be undertaken after disconnection of the power by

removing fuses or turning off the circuit breaker, to ensure all pole isolation of

the electrical supply.

• Wipe with a dry cloth moistened with soap and water. Dry thoroughly.

• Unplug the power before cleaning. Do not all water inside.

Important Warning:

• Do not carry the unit by holding the power cord.

• Do not insert objects through the protective grill.

• Do not use the device in a bathroom

Using the SY-CLV30

Before first use:

• Take the appliance and accessories out of the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or

plastic from the appliance.

• Make sure to place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable surface. This appliance is only

suitable for indoor and for domestic use.

• After unpacking the product, keep the packaging materials out of reach of children to avoid

accidents.

• Connect the power cable to the socket. (Note: make sure the voltage, which is indicated on

the appliance, matches the local voltage before connecting the appliance. 220-240V

~50/60Hz.

• Do not place the appliance next to curtains or furniture. Keep at least 45 cm distance

between the back, front, sides and top of the heater.

Using the Fan heater:

• The fan heater includes 4 different positions:

0: Off

1: Cooling air

2: Half heat output (1000W)

3: Full heat output (2000W)

• Turn the thermostat knob to its maximum position

• Select the power to 1000W or 2000W.

• Once the room has reached the desired temperature, turn the thermostat knob slightly

counterclockwise until the appliance is switched off with a gentle "click". From this moment,

the heater will switch on and off automatically, keeping the pre-selected temperature

constant.

• Disconnection Turn the power selector knob to the stop position.

• During particularly cold weather, the low power setting maybe insufficient, select a higher

setting during these periods.

• Before switching off the fan heater, let it always work under the cooling mode during 5 or 10

seconds.

Safety control

• Should any fault occur, the built-in overheating disconnection system automatically

disconnects the device. If this happens, proceed as follows: Disconnect the appliance from

the mains, let it cool for 15 minutes, clean the outlet grate, if necessary, with a vacuum

cleaner. If after all this procedure the device does not work normally, please contact Heatzilla

technical service department.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Make sure to switch off the appliance remove the switch from the outlet before cleaning.

• Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning or touching it.

• Clean the outside cabinet with a soft damp cloth. Never immerse the unit in water or any

other liquid.

• Do not use solvents or any chemical substance during internal or external cleaning and be

careful not to allow the moisture to penetrate the electrical parts.

• Do not use waxes or polishing materials. These products may react with the heat causing

discoloration of the paint.

• Do not use sharp objects, hard brushes or industrial cleaners to clean the unit.

• Always wrap the plug cable before storing it, to prevent accidents, tripping and falls.

• Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing

so will void the warranty

• Always store your appliance on a flat, clean and dry surface, out of reach of children and

where there is no dust and moisture.

• If you have any questions regarding this unit’s operation or believe any repair is necessary,

please contact Heatzilla.

Guidelines for protection of the environment

Used electrical and electronic products must not be discarded with household

waste. The presence of this symbol on the product or its packaging serves as a

reminder of this. Some of the materials of which this product is comprised can be

recycled if they are taken to an appropriate recycling centre. By reusing the

components and raw materials of used products, you contribute significantly to

protecting the environment. For further information on collection sites for used

equipment, you can enquire at your town council, the waste treatment department,

or the shop where you have purchased the product.

Do not dispose of batteries with the household waste. Return used batteries to a

battery recycling centre.

Dispose of the packing materials in accordance with local regulations.

Packaging:

The packaging is 100% recyclable, return the packaging separated.
