• Once the room has reached the desired temperature, turn the thermostat knob slightly
counterclockwise until the appliance is switched off with a gentle "click". From this moment,
the heater will switch on and off automatically, keeping the pre-selected temperature
constant.
• Disconnection Turn the power selector knob to the stop position.
• During particularly cold weather, the low power setting maybe insufficient, select a higher
setting during these periods.
• Before switching off the fan heater, let it always work under the cooling mode during 5 or 10
seconds.
Safety control
• Should any fault occur, the built-in overheating disconnection system automatically
disconnects the device. If this happens, proceed as follows: Disconnect the appliance from
the mains, let it cool for 15 minutes, clean the outlet grate, if necessary, with a vacuum
cleaner. If after all this procedure the device does not work normally, please contact Heatzilla
technical service department.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Make sure to switch off the appliance remove the switch from the outlet before cleaning.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning or touching it.
• Clean the outside cabinet with a soft damp cloth. Never immerse the unit in water or any
other liquid.
• Do not use solvents or any chemical substance during internal or external cleaning and be
careful not to allow the moisture to penetrate the electrical parts.
• Do not use waxes or polishing materials. These products may react with the heat causing
discoloration of the paint.
• Do not use sharp objects, hard brushes or industrial cleaners to clean the unit.
• Always wrap the plug cable before storing it, to prevent accidents, tripping and falls.
• Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing
so will void the warranty
• Always store your appliance on a flat, clean and dry surface, out of reach of children and
where there is no dust and moisture.
