SETTING THE TIME
1. Turn the crown clockwise to wind and start the watch movement while the
crown is in the neutral (pushed into the case) position.
2. Pull the crown out.
3. Turn the crown either clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the time while
the crown is pulled out.
4. Push the crown into the case once the desired time is set.
The power reserve on a fully wound watch is approximately 40 hours.
NOTE: When the crown has been pulled out to position 2, the second hand will
stop. This is used to synchronize and set the time to an accurate reference time
source.
IMPORTANT
Wind the watch until pressure is felt while turning the crown clockwise. Please
note to turn the crown gently while winding in this way, as winding too fast can
damage the gears in the movement. Do not overwind. If the watch will not wind
any more, do not force it. Ensure the crown is pushed in completely to ensure the
watch is water resistant. Only have the watch serviced by an authorized Marathon
service centre, otherwise the warranty will be void.
