and its operating and control functions.
Under no circumstances should children be permitted to operate the blower.
Under no circumstances should persons who are unfamiliar with the contents of these
instructions be permitted to operate the device. Ordinances and regulations in some
municipalities may set a minimum age for operation of the blower
Under no circumstances should the blower ever be operated when other persons,
particularly children, or pets are nearby.
The user is liable for any accidents or damage incurred by third parties or their property.
5.2 Safety and health precautions
When you operate the blower, always wear full-length trousers, as well as sturdy, closed
shoes that provide good support.
Under no circumstances should jewellery, any other body ornamentation, or loose clothing

Wear protective garb and goggles. Wearing protective garb such as a dust mask, non-slip
footwear, protective gloves, a helmet and/or hearing protection (depending on the type
and application of the electrical device concerned) reduces the risk of injury.
When performing work that generates dust, wear a breathing mask.
Each time you use the blower, check the integrity of the device's power cord and your own
extension cord. The device should only be operated when its accessories are in perfect
working order. Any damaged or defective components should be repaired immediately by
a qualified technician.
Under no circumstances should the blower be operated while you are wearing damaged
protective garb, shielding or without basic safely equipment such as a deflection device or
collection bag.
Only extension cords that are rated for outdoor use should be used outdoors. Any
extension cord used should measure a minimum of 1.5 mm across.
All plug-in connections should have an earthing contact and water-spray shielding.
6 OPERATING THE DEVICE
Make sure the power cord is kept behind and away from the device while you work.
If the power cord or extension cord are damaged while you work, unplug the blower
immediately. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce
the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
Never use the power cord as a handle to lift or carry the device.
Always unplug the device under the following circumstances:
o When the blower is not in use, is being carried/transported, or is left unattended.
o While examining, cleaning or unclogging the device.
o When cleaning the device, performing maintenance on it, or attaching accessories
to it.

Use the blower in daylight or with adequate illumination.
Bear in mind that the force generated by an electrical device can make you lose your
balance. Therefore, make sure that your feet are firmly planted and that your body is well
balanced when you are operating the device.
Never operate the blower on damp or wet grass.
Using the blower on sloping areas: Do not work in areas with unduly steep slopes.

planted. Exercise particular caution whenever you change directions while working on a
slope.
Walk at a measured pace while operating the blower. DO NOT RUN.
Keep the air outlet unobstructed and clean at all times.
Never direct the suction/blown air opening toward persons or animals.

The blower can be plugged into any 230 volt AC outlet with 10 amps of fuse protection.
The electrical outlet is to be protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) with a
max triggering current of 30 m amps.
8 BEFORE USE
Steps prior to operation
Only operate the device after completely assembling it. Prior to each use, check the power
cord for signs of damage. Under no circumstances should the power cord be used if it shows
any signs of damage.
9 ASSEMBLY
Your new blower vac requires very little assembly work before it is ready for use (Fig. 1).
ATTENTION! The 2 supplied tube parts have to be mounted otherwise the machine will NOT
work! (Build in safety switch!)
9.1 Safety switch
Your blow-vac has a build in safety switch that prevents the machine from being started in
case the supplied tubes are not mounted.
9.2 Shoulder strap
The shoulder strap will be supplied inside the leaf bag. Take the shoulder strap out of the leaf
bag, open the snap fastener, thread the strap through the metal clip on the top of the motor
casing and then close the snap fastener. To adjust the shoulder strap to the required length,
simply slide the adjustable strap buckle forward or backwards.
9.3 Leaf bag (Fig. 2)
To secure the leaf bag to the machine, simply attach the buckle to the top tube section
and pull the expanding bag opening over the leaf discharge point on the bottom of the motor
casing. Then tighten the securing belt.
9.4 Height adjustment (Fig. 3)
Press the height adjusting button (A) and slide the Vacuum/Blower tube (B) to desired length.
It can be extended up to 300 mm.
9.5 Front handle adjustment (Fig. 4)
Adjust the front handle to a comfortable angle. Release the adjusting buttons and the handle
will automatically.
9.6 Rake adjustment (Fig. 5)
Rotate the rake knob 90° anticlockwise and then the rake will automatically pop-up. Lock the
knob by rotating 90° degrees clockwise. The integrated rake will help to loosen debris
between gravel.
10 OPERATION
Ensure that the blower vac is only connected to conventional sockets with a 230-240V
alternating current supply. Only use extension cables if they are really necessary. The use of
extension cables may cause a drop in voltage, which will result in the machine not performing
to its peak or the motor overheating.
10.1 Switching ON/OFF
To switch on the blow/vac push in the on/off trigger switch (9). And hold to switch off the
machine, release the on/off trigger switch.
10.2 Speed regulation
You can vary the speed by turning the switch (10) from 1 (low speed) to 6 (high speed).

10.3 Use/Operation
The easiest way to use the blower vac is to place the shoulder strap in a comfortable position
over your shoulder and hold the rear handle at hip height so that the majority of the machine’s
weight rests on the rollers.
When using the blower vac to pick up leaves it is best to move the machine on the rollers. This
ensures that the blower vac is at the perfect height above the ground. The blower vac is
designed only to pick up leaves. To avoid machine damage that is not covered by the warranty;
do not use it to pick up branches, stones or other hard materials.
When using the machine as a leaf blower always work away from solid objects such as walls,
fences, etc. Whilst you work do not place the blower vac tube too close to the leaves. The
machine will be more effective if you keep it at a certain distance away from the leaves and
blow the leaves forwards.
10.4 Switching operating mode (Fig. 6)
To switch the machine from blower mode to vacuum mode, simply switch it off at the main
switch and move the function selector lever to the other position.
10.5 Leaf bag (Fig. 7)
Note: Before you remove and empty the leaf bag ensure that the machine has been
disconnected from the mains power supply.
To empty the leaf bag simply open the zip fastener, empty the bag and then close the zip
fastener again.
When the leaf bag is open you can also check the function of the blower vac’s slide control. If
there is a blockage in the machine, check this function and remove the blockage.
11 MAINTENANCE
Check the blower vac for any signs of damage before each use
After using the machine
1. Empty the leaf bag.
2. Check the vacuum tube and remove leaf residue.
3. Check the blower vac’s slide control for leaf residue.
4. Clean the machine with a soft dry cloth.
5. Store the machine in a safe place where it is out of the reach of children.
6. Clearing the impeller from debris
Warning! Unplug the machine before clearing the impeller, use gloves!
Unscrew the knob of the impeller access door. Wearing gloves, carefully
clear the impeller from debris
