Note: For an optimum image performance “Focus compensation calibration”
must be completed after the installation of your projector.
1. Press and hold the power button “ ”on the keypad of the unit, and
then plug in the power cord.
2. Press the down arrow “
” on the keypad of the unit. (The projector’s
fans will be triggered at full capacity)
3. Wait 15 minutes and then unplug the power cord.
4. Plug in the power cord and turn on the projector by pressing the power

” on the projector keypad.
5. Turn On “Compensate focus” following these steps: Press “Menu”
button on the remote control > go to Setup page > Lens function >
Compensate focus > Calibration > press “ENTER”key.
6. After selecting “Yes”, the power “
” will turn purple. If the power “
” LED is not purple, you must wait until the LED turn purple.
7. Display a grid test pattern by following these steps: Press the “Menu”
button on the remote control > go to Setup page > Select Test Pattern.

8. Once test pattern is up on your screen, adjust
the focus to optimize the image (Press “F2” on
the remote control to call Focus menu, and then
adjust focus by pressing the right and left keys
keys).
9. Press the “Info” key on the remote control. The
power “
” LED on the projector will be ashing
purple for approximately 2.5 minutes.
When the power “
” LED on the projector
turns solid purple, this indicates the projector
has nished saving the rst Focus compensation
calibration settings.
10. Lens thermal aberration could take around 20
minutes until reaching a stable state, during
this time focus can be adjusted by following the
process mentioned on step number 8.

When focus is stable (after min 20 ), press “Re-Sync” key on the remote
control.

When the power LED “ “ turns solid purple, this indicates the projector
has nished saving the second Focus compensation calibration settings.
12. Turn o the projector by pressing the power o button “
” on the
remote control. The “Compensate Focus” setting will be set to “On”.
Note:
- This calibration process is only required during the rst time of
installation or change to dierent projection size.
- During the calibration process period, it can’t input any signals.
