SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
HSILGNE
• DO NOT use the Steamer on a table vulnerable to heat, mat or wooden floor.
- Such a use may cause deformation or discoloration.
• DO NOT use the water previously used in the Steamer, as drinking water.
- It is harmful to the human body.
• DO NOT use water tank, without repairing it, if damaged.
- In such case, water leaking out of the Steamer body can cause damage or failure in the ma-
chine.
• DO NOT let the Steamer over-humidify.
- A prolonged, continuous humidifying operation may wet the interior of the room (e.g., con-
densation) or cause a failure in the machine.
• Install the machine at least 1 meter away from a TV, radio set, mobile phone, or air condi-
tioner.
- Or, it may cause blinking, noise or jamming on the TV screen.
• When cleaning the inside of the Steamer body, DO NOT use a chlorine, acid or citric acid de-
tergent.
- Harmful gas from such an detergent may damage your health or the machine.
• Mount or start cleaning water tank only after pulling out the power plug and the Fan stops ro-
tating.
- Or, you can be exposed to an electric shock or failure in the Steamer.
• DO NOT use the Steamer for a special purpose such as preserving plants/animals, precision
instruments or works of art.
- Such a use may deteriorate the intended performance of such an object.
• Remove the water tank, spray cover and water channel cover before draining water from the
water reservoir in the specified direction.
- Otherwise, you may be exposed to an electric shock or breakdown of the machine.
Make sure to observe the following tips for a long lifespan of the Steamer.
• Wash the dust filter, regularly.
- Depending on the using environment, the machine may have dusts accumulated, its interior
deformed or failures. (For How to wash instructions, refer to p.15)
• While using or right after using the Steamer, DO NOT try to open the body cover to clean the
inside or put your hands in.
- Such an act may result in a burn or electric shock.
• Hold and support the bottom of the body when moving the machine.
- Or, falling off of the body cover or water tank may cause a damage. Leaning or toppling the
machine may cause overflow of inside water.
CAUTION
• Make sure the Steamer is unplugged when it is not being used. If there is water or dust on
the power plug, mop it with a dry rag before using the machine.
- Otherwise, you can be exposed to an electric shock or short circuit.
• DO NOT use the machine near a wall, piece of furniture, curtain or ceiling.
- Such a use may involve a stain, fungus or deformation of the Steamer.
• DO NOT move the Steamer while or right after using it.
- Flooding of hot water may cause a damage, burn, electric shock or malfunctioning.
!
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
5
HSILGNE
• DO NOT use the machine at a place with direct sunlight, on ondol floor, or near a heating de-
vice.
- Such a use may be exposed to air expansion inside water tank or overflow of water from the
steamer body. It may also cause deformation or corruption of plastic parts.
• Wash the scale filter, regularly.
- Or, the boiler may have an infection, decreased amount of humidification, fungi and spread
of sundry germs.
• DO NOT use with the scale filter, water channel cover, dust filter, filter cover, or spray cover removed.
- Or, such as use may cause deterioration of functionality, discoloration of water or accumula-
tion of dusts.
• To avoid freeze, drain the water tank and any water inside the body.
- Using with a freeze may cause malfunctioning.
• Make sure to install the Steamer on a secure table.
- If the installation surface is not level, vibration can cause the water to overflow.
• Change the water in water tank with new water and discharge remaining water, every day.
Clean the inside of the Body regularly, i.e., twice a week.
- Otherwise, contaminated water may deteriorate the steamer's performance or produce an
odor. The steamer's interior may have some membrane on it and it may come out with wind
through the nozzle.
• DO NOT use the machine near a curtain.
- Clogging the intake port may deteriorate air intaking performance, which may in turn in-
crease the temperature inside, deform the interior or cause a failure or accident.
• DO NOT use any other water than purified water, tap water, or hot water in water tank or in-
side the steamer body.
- Alkaline ionized water, mineral water, underground water or infected water can cause out-
break of fungi, sundry germs, alien materials in water reservoir, or discoloration of the
steamer. Using hot water (40°C or above), chemicals or air freshers inside the machine may
deform the body or cause a a failure.
• DO NOT clog the intake port or spray nozzle with a dishcloth or book, while using the
Steamer.
- Overheating of the inside may deform the interior or cause a failure, accident or burn.

Clean the steamer after unplugging and cooling it down. Use a smooth sponge or cloth to clean it.
Wash the steamer, frequently, to prevent deterioration of its perform
ance and odor. Change the
water in water tank with new water and discharge rem
aining water in boiler, steamer body and water
reservoir, every day. Clean the inside of the body regul
arly, i.e., twice a week. Or, the steamer's inte-

nozzle.
• When washing the water tank, rinse the inside enough with suf-
ficient water.
• Wash it with water. If you do
n't wash the machine, frequently, it
can be discolored or lose its functionalities.

!
CAUTION
• DO NOT wash the entire steamer assembly, at a time. Water permeating into the Body
may cause a failure. Wash the boiler, twice a week. It has coating put on it, but, if not
cleaned for a long time, impurities produced inside may be hard to remove.
