to prepare to operate on the Sphere carefully follow these steps
Turn the Sphere and hold the metal base
rmly to move it.
Place the Sphere upside down on a
surface protected by a proper cloth to
keep it vertical and avoid possible
scratches.
Remove the Sphere from the packaging or lift
it from its position, making sure to leave the
deector on a safe position.
1 > Using the Allen Key #3(B) unscrew
the 4 M5X30 screws and remove the
frame protecting the coaxial, making
sure to always unscrew the screw oppo-
site to the previous one.
2 > The coaxial remains untied as
well. Lift the coax and turn it over the
inner ange of the Sphere.
3 > Desolder the quadripolar cable from
the four connections on the coaxial spea-
ker, quickly enough to avoid thermal
damage to wires and internal connections
of the driver. Be sure to remember the
colors of the phases. (Brown > +Woofer;
Green > -Woofer; Yellow > +Tweeter;
White > -Tweeter)
4 > Remove the coax. Remove the
acoustic dumper holding in place the
acoustic foam “candy” that contains the
crossover IP65 waterproof box and take
the “candy” out.
2.0 > Assembly Procedure:
1.1 > Crossover Board Removal:
1.2 > Crossover Cables Removal:
1 > Open the box with the Phillips screwdriver (C)
2 > Desolder the six connections using the welder (H).
Remember the phases.
1 > Open the box with the Phillips screwdriver (C)
2 > Desolder the six connections using the welder (H). Remember the phases.
3 > Unscrew the sealed cable glands (y) using the two at wrenches #17 (E) and pull the cables out.
3 > Unscrew the 4 screws (x) securing the board to
the box and remove the board.
5 > Using the cutter (A) remove the
nylon cable ties closing the “candy”,
unroll the acoustic dumper to make
possible any intervention in the
crossover box. Open the box and
desolder the bipolar cable.
(For proper interventation on crosso-
ver box and board please refer to next
paragraphs 1.1 and 1.2)
6 > Remove the crossover IP65
waterproof box. Slip the bipolar cable
out from the Sphere’s body. Now the
base is detached from the body and
can be removed/replaced.
1 > IMPORTANT: the base comes alrea-
dy cabled, with the protecting net and the
heat-shrinking sheath securing it.
Insert the bipolar cable into the Sphere’s
body throughout the proper hole.
Rests the base on the sphere, making sure
that the holes on the base ange coincide
with the ones on the body ange.
2 > Open the crossover box and solder
the bipolar cable. (For proper interventation
on crossover box and board please refer to
following paragraph 2.1).

3 > Once you are done, close the crosso-
ver IP65 waterproof box adn wrap the acou-
stic dumper sheet around it so that it looks
like a “candy”.
4 > Seal the acoustic dumper
wrapping by closing it with the two
nylon cable ties.
2.1 > Crossover Board Assembly:
3.0 > Possible Cases.

6 > Place the coaxial over the inner
ange, overturned with the connectors
visible and insert the silicone gasket over
the coaxial basket. Stagnate the connec-
tors and the quadripolar cable and then
weld the contacts (welder temperature
400°C) on the coaxial, quickly enough to
avoid thermal damage to wires and internal
connections of the driver. Be sure to
remember the colors of the phases.
(Brown > +Woofer; Green > -Woofer;
Yellow > +Tweeter; White > -Tweeter)
7 > Overturn the coaxial matching the
holes in the basket with the holes in the
inner ange. Position the protecting
frame on top of it, still matching the
holes, place the 4 M5X30 screws and
the "Schnorr" (L) washers in the holes of
the frame and using the Allen key #3 (B)
turn the screws counter-clockwise until
you hear a click that indicates the
correct insertion of the rst thread of the
screw in the threaded seat. Then
tighten the screws by turning clockwise
crosswise (always tighten the screw
opposite to the previous one) until you
start feeling resistance.
1 > Place the board inside the box and secure it to the box by screwing the four
star screws (X), paying attention not to force the plastic thread.
2 > Arrange the internal wires according to the attached image, in order to avoid
inappropriate contacts between wiring and crossover components.
3 > Solder the six connection points respecting the colors of the polarities
(welder temperature 400° C).
4 > Close the box cover tightening the four star screws.
3.1 > Sphere Base Replacement:
Follow steps 1 > 6 of “1.0 Disassembly Procedure” and then steps 1 > 7 of “2.0 Assembly Procedure”

5 > Insert the crossover box “candy”inside
the Sphere, positioning it resting at on the
perimeter acoustic dumper as shown in the

6 > Desolder the bipolar cable from its connection in the crossover board (Z)
and remove the crossover box.
1 > Using the Allen Key #3(B) unscrew
the 4 M5X30 screws and remove the
frame protecting the subwoofer, making
sure to always unscrew the screw oppo-
site to the previous one.
The subwoofer remains untied as well.
Lift it and turn it over the inner ange of
the Sphere.
2 > Desolder the bipolar cable from
the two connections on the subwoofer,
quickly enough to avoid thermal damage
to wires and internal connections of the
driver, and remove the subwoofer.
7 > Place the subwoofer over the inner
ange, overturned with the connectors
visible and insert the silicone gasket over
the its basket. Stagnate the connectors
and the bipolar cable and then weld the
contacts (welder temperature 400°C) on
the subwoofer, quickly enough to avoid

3.5 > Turn a Fullrange Sphere into a Subwoofer Sphere:
Follow steps 1 > 5 of “1.0 Disassembly Procedure”.
3.7 >
Upgrade a Sphere with the “Lighting Mood” base.
It is NOT possible to DIY upgrade your Sphere into a “Lighting Mood” model. “Lighting Mode” Spheres come straight out of the factory with
the light base already assembled.
3.6 > Turn a Subwoofer Sphere into a Fullrange Sphere:
5 >
Open the Crossover box with the Phillips screwdriver
(C), insert the bipolar and quadripolar cables and solder the
six connections using the welder (F). Remember the phases.
Fasten the sealed cable glands (
y) using the two at
wrenches #17 (E) to secure the cables.
