Introduction
The Alpha Labs Masterkey has been developed to solve the
connection problems that digital DJs have when trying to
integrate their computer based deejaying systems into the
existing DJ set at dance clubs and festival stages worldwide. The
Alpha Labs Masterkey now brings a truly professional solution in a
massive, rugged enclosure with a bright, perfectly readable finish,
so that finding the connection even in the darkest surrounding will
be no problem anymore. The design of the enclosure has been
chosen as such, that all connections to the mixer are protected
from dirt and unwanted manipulation. The rack ears supplied
allow to mount the Masterkey in three different positions: Table-
top, 13-inch flush mounted and 19-inch rack mounted.
Einführung
Der Alpha Labs Masterkey wurde entwickelt um die
Anschlussprobleme von Digital-DJs zu lösen, welche entstehen,
wenn diese ihr PC-basiertes DJ-System in das existierende DJ-Set
in Dance Clubs oder auf Festivalbühnen einbinden möchten. Der
Alpha Labs Masterkey bringt nun eine wirklich professionelle
Lösung ins Spiel, welche mit einem sehr robusten Gehäuse und
einer hellen, gut ablesbaren Oberfläche aufwarten kann.
Anschluss zu finden selbst in der dunkelsten Umgebung stellt nun
kein Problem mehr dar. Die Gehäusekonstruktion ist so ausgelegt,
dass die Verbindungen zum DJ Mixer verblendet sind, und somit
gegen Schmutz und ungewollten Kontakt geschützt sind. Die
mitgelieferten Rack-Ohren ermöglichen es den Masterkey in der
verschiedenen Positionen zu montieren: Stehend, bündig im 13“
Format und im 19“ Rackformat.

Here are located the patchbays connections for the Digital-DJs.
The connections are layed out twice and in parallel, so that two
Digital-DJs can plug into the DJ set. The AUX input can be used as
additional line level input for other external sources like MP3
players, live act mixes etc.
Hier finden sich alle Anschlüsse für die Digital-DJs. Alle Anschlüsse
sind doppelt und parallel ausgeführt, so dass zwei Digital-DJs sich
gleichzeitig in das DJ-Set einstecken können. Der AUX Eingang
kann als zusätzlicher Eingang für weitere externe Quellen genutzt
werden wie MP3-Player oder den Summenmix von Live-Musikern.

On this side all connections of the DJ set are made. Connect the left and
right vinyl turntables to the appropriate phono inputs and link these signals
from the phono outputs to the inputs of the DJ mixer. Connect the line
outputs to the same channel of the DJ mixer, where the phono signals are
routed to. So the DJ will be able to choose easily between vinyl and
digital line operation simply by switching the input source selector of the
respective mixer channel. Connect the aux line output to a free channel
of the DJ mixer, so to aux input on the top panel will be usable. Connect
the grounding cables from the turntables to the ground binding post, and
link the ground also to the grounding of the DJ mixer! If you forget that,
excessive humming may occur!
Hier befinden sich die Anschlüsse zum DJ-Set. Schließe den linken und
rechten Plattenspieler an die entsprechenden Phono Eingänge an, und
verbinde die Phono Ausgänge mit den entsprechenden Eingängen am
DJ-Mixer. Verbinde die Line Ausgänge mit den Line Eingängen des
gleichen Kanals wie die der entsprechenden Phono-Eingänge. Somit kann
der DJ dann durch einfaches Umschalten der Quellenwahlschalter am
Mixerkanal selbst zwischen Plattenspieler- und Digitalbetrieb wählen.
Schließe die Massekabel der Plattenspieler am Masterkey an und
verbinde die Masse vom Masterkey mit der Masse des Mischpults! Wenn
dies vergessen werden sollte, könnte starkes Brummen auftreten!

Mounting Montage
With the different rack ears supplied you are free to decide between
three mounting positions: 13inch flush mounting, table top mounting or
19inch rack mounting.
Mit den mitgelieferten Rack-Ohren kannst Du zwischen drei Montage
Positionen wählen: bündig im 13“-Format, stehend auf dem DJ Pult oder
im 19“-Rackformat.
Warranty Garantie
Alpha Labs warrants that this product will be free from any defects in
materials and/or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the purchase
date. The warranty service is only available to the original consumer, who
purchased this product directly from the retail dealer, and it can not be
transferred. During the warranty service, Alpha Labs may repair or replace
this product at is own option at no charge to you for parts or labor. This
warranty does not apply to the damages to this product, that occurred at
the following conditions:
- Operation outside the designated usage range, any abuse or
misuse of this product.
- Normal tear and wear.
- Alternation or modification of this product in any way.
- Damage which may have been caused either directly or
indirectly by another product or excessive electric and
mechanic forces.
- Service or repairing by anyone other than the qualified
personnel or technician.
In all these cases all expenses will be charged to the buyer.
Alpha Labs garantiert, dass dieses Produkt frei von Fehlern in Material und
Fertigung ist für einen Zeitraum von 2 Jahren ab dem Datum des Erwerbs.
Die Garantie steht nur dem originalen Erstkäufer zu, der dieses Produkt
direkt vom Einzelhändler bezogen hat, und ist nicht übertragbar. Während
der Garantiezeit wird Alpha Labs das Produkt reparieren oder ersetzen
ohne dass für den Käufer Kosten für Arbeit oder Ersatzteile entstehen. Die
Garantie deckt keine Schäden ab, die unter folgenden Umständen
entstanden sind:
- Nutzung außerhalb des vorgesehenen Verwendungszwecks,
Missbrauch oder Fehlgebrauch des Produkts
- Normale Abnutzung
- Umbau und Veränderung am Produkt durch den Nutzer in
jedweder Form
- Beschädigungen welche durch direkten und indirekten Einfluss
anderer Geräte sowie exzessive elektrische oder mechanische
Kräfte verursacht wurden.
- Reparaturen welche durch andere als dafür qualifizierte
Personen durchgeführt worden sind.
In all diesen Fällen trägt der Käufer anfallenden Auslagen und Kosten.
