Starting
Donottiltmowerwhenstartingtheengineunless
themowerhastobetiltedforstarting.Inthiscase,
donottiltitmorethanabsolutelynecessaryandlift
onlythepart,whichisawayfromtheoperator.
Starttheenginecarefullyaccordingtoinstructions
andwithfeetwellawayfromtheblade(s)andnotin
frontofthedischargechute.
Operation

6.Installthesparkplugandtightenitwithatorque
wrenchto15ft-lb(20N-m).
7.Chargethebatteryfor24hours,thenunplugthe
batterychargerandstorethemowerinanunheated
area.Ifyoumuststorethemowerinaheatedarea,
youmustchargethebatteryevery90days(model
20796only).
FoldingtheHandle
WARNING
If,whilefoldingthehandleforstoringor
transportingthemower,youaccidentlybumpthe
keyandengagethebladecontrolbar,theengine
couldstartandrotatetheblade,causingserious
personalinjury.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeybeforeyoufoldthe
handle.
