Handy Hopper
To use you handy hopper, slide hopper to bottom of
your speed slicer. Press the two clips inward on both
sides of the lid and gently lift to remove the top cover.
Place your foods into in the handy hopper,
Replace the top cover making sure the clips are
snapped into position. Slide the hopper up and down
your speed slicer using long even strokes. Now you are
now ready for speed slicing! * Make sure the handy
hopper is attached to the speed slicer and at the bottom
of the machine when refilling with food.
CAUTION, BLADES ARE SHARP. EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN
HANDLING SLICER!!!
Cleaning:
To clean you speed slicer, set the slicing dial to lock and the FF – Julienne
blades to closed position. Use soapy water and a sponge to clean your speed
slicer then rinse clean with hot water. To clean julienne blades, turn your speed
slicer over to the dial side and lay flat. Unlock the slicing dial to max. On each
side of the julienne blade dial are 2 clips. Press clips inward and lift up to
expose blades. Use a bristle brush to remove food particles and rinse under hot
water. (Never use fingers to remove foods) Flip platform back into cutting
position; slide each clip outward to lock back into place. Turn speed slicer over
to the top position, carefully replace the blade guard and turn the slicing dial to
lock.
Hold the grip handle and slide the Handy Hopper
onto the slicer by putting the runners into the
grooves on the side. The hopper should slide easily
in the rails and stop at the end. Now the food can
loaded into the container. * For speed slicing, place
a small amount of cooking oil on a Q-tip and apply
to the inside groove on each side of the speed slicer.
