PoE LED Indicators
Cat 5 Ethernet Cable
Step 1
Insert a single activated USB modem into either the external or internal USB
port. The internal USB port can be accessed by unscrewing the four feet
“thumb screws” on the bottom of the NetBridge.
The USB modem must be on the supported list of devices,
which can be found at http://acceleratedconcepts.com/support
Step 2 Find the optimal NetBridge placement by performing a Site Survey as listed in
Steps 3 thru 5. If a Site Survey has been performed previously, skip to Step 6.
Step 3 Connect the temporary battery pack to the NetBridge
Step 4 Move the NetBridge device to different locations in your facility to find the
optimal location. Note; the strongest cellular signal could be along the
perimeter or near the ceiling.
To obtain an accurate reading, it is recommended the device
remain stationary at each location for at least 30 seconds .
Step 5 Disconnect the temporary battery.
Step 7 If using the PoE Cable to supply the NetBridge with power, connect the male
Ethernet adapter into the “Internet” or “WAN” port of your client device.
(computer, router, etc.) Connect a Standard CAT5 Ethernet cable to the
female end of the PoE Cable. See Diagram A
Step 8 If connecting power directly to the NetBridge, insert a Standard CAT5 cable
into the “Internet” or “WAN” port of your client device. See Diagram B
Step 9 Insert the far end of the Standard CAT5 Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of
the NetBridge.
It is recommended that the Ethernet cable not exceed 300ft.
