Battery status
All 3 LEDs are alight: Fully charged (75-100 %).
LED 1 and LED 2 are alight: The battery is 25-50 % charged.
LED 1 is alight: The battery is 0-25 % charged. Recharge the battery.
Warning! Please remember to store the Li-Ion battery pack only when it is fully
charged and recharge it again at the latest after 2 months.
Charging the Li-Ion battery
First turn the switch on the battery unit to Pos. 0, then connect the plug on the charging cable to the socket
provided (DC Input) and connect the charging unit to the mains. The control lamp on the battery will show
red, as will the LED on the power supply unit during charging operations. When the LED on the power unit
changes to green, the battery is full.
Battery charging unit
Make sure that the cable is not damaged.
Lithium-Ion batteries can be charged whatever their charge level. The charging operation can be started
or interrupted whatever the charge level of the battery. This does not damage the battery in any way. A
fully loaded battery will keep its charge even if the battery is left in the charging unit. The battery cannot be
loaded if its temperature is higher than 50 °C.
Checks before starting cleaning
• Make sure the brush can rotate easily.
• Remove any weed, string or similar material which may be tangled in the brush, turning off the battery
beforehand.
• Check that the appliance is in good condition.
• Before starting up the appliance, all casings should be correctly attached and in perfect condition.
• Only use the appliance for the tasks for which it is intended.
• Make sure you are standing in a safe position and can keep your balance.
• Always use both hands when operating the appliance.
• Never put the appliance down until you have turned it off.
• If you encounter a foreign body or the appliance starts to vibrate, lay it to one side. Switch off the appli-
ance and the battery before removing any material which may be tangled in
the brush. Otherwise, there is danger of injury!
Attaching the brush head to the telescopic rod
When attaching, rst pay attention to the spiral cable xed to the end of the rod
by a velcro fastener. Whatever you do, do not let go of the cable while loosening
the velcro strip and screw the plug into the socket on the brush immediately.
If you let go of the cable too soon, it will slip back into the rod and is almost
impossible to retrieve!
After connecting the cable, push the Bisam Brush adaptor with the cable into the
telescopic rod and make it fast with the two screws. Keep the velcro strip and
when detaching the cable, x it back to the rod as it was originally.
Working with the Biber-Brush
Put together the Biber brush as shown in Abb.1 and connect it to the suction
hose of the suction cleaner
Place the circular brush on the pond wall, activate the forward/backward switch
and switch on the suction cleaner. The brush is guided by hand using the teles-
copic rod. The rotating movement automatically pulls the brush against the wall
surface. Working on coarse surfaces wears out the brush more quickly, so use
the correct hardness of brush depending on the surface to be cleaned. The circular brush should not be
pressed hard down onto the surface being cleaned as this can result in damage to the motor or gears or to
the pond foil.
Changing the brush
Take very great care before you start, to turn the main
switch on the battery pack to position 0. Press the circular
brush in the direction 1 using a slotted screwdriver and
pull on the brush. To attach the brush, simply press it into
position until it clicks into place.
