cone, citrus tray, paddle, shaft, ice chamber and ice-
shaving blade assembly (following ’Disassembling the

Disassembling the Citrus Slushie
Creations
Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position, the

Remove the storage lid.
The ice shaving blade in the ice chamber is very sharp,
so always remove the ice shaving blade assembly before
disassembling and cleaning the appliance.
Carefully remove the ice shaving blade assembly, located
in the chute, from the ice chamber by unscrewing
the knob of the blade assembly, in an anti-clockwise
direction. Take care when removing and handling the
blade assembly as the ice-shaving blade is very sharp.

Remove the ice chamber by holding onto the motor body
and turning the ice chamber clockwise, then pulling it
upwards and off.
Assembling the Citrus Slushie
Creations
Place the ice chamber onto the top of the motor body so
that the chute is on the left side of the motor body. The
‘ALIGN’ symbols on the left side of the motor body and ice
chamber will align. Turn the ice chamber anti-clockwise
until symbol ‘ALIGN’ aligns with ‘LOCK’ symbol on the
motor base. This will securely lock the ice chamber into
position on the motor body.
Place the spindle with attached paddle onto the small
white drive shaft located through the centre of the ice
chamber. Turn the paddle clockwise to lock onto the small
white drive shaft. Align the 3 dual prongs at the base of
the spindle with the corresponding gaps and push down
on the spindle to lock into position.
Align the small white tab on the pouring spout of citrus
tray with the chute at the front of the ice chamber, then
insert and firmly push down towards the rear of the
citrus tray until the ‘PUSH TO RELEASE’ button locks into
position.
Insert the small cone (for small citrus fruit such as lemons
or limes) onto the spindle located through the centre of
the citrus tray and push down to secure into position.
If using the large cone (for larger citrus fruit such as
oranges), place the large cone over the tabs of the small
cone and push down to secure into position.
Carefully insert the ice shaving blade assembly through
the chute and locate into slot in front of the ice chamber
then screw the knob of the blade assembly in a clockwise
direction to secure into position. Take care when inserting
and handling the blade assembly as the ice-shaving
blade is very sharp
NOTE

Slide the protective shield into position on the chute. The
protective shield helps guide the juice, shaved ice or
citrus slushie into the slushie cup.
Place the storage lid on top of the citrus tray and place
the slushie cup into position underneath the chute.
Using the Citrus Slushie Creations
Preparing the appliance and ingredients
Ensure appliance is completely assembled (follow
‘Assembling the Citrus Slushie Creations’) and the
ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position. The appliance
will operate only when assembled correctly.
If shaving ice, ensure sufficient medium-sized ice
cubes have been frozen for more than 8 hours.
If juicing citrus fruit, slice the fruit in half across the
segments and set aside.
Remove the storage lid and ensure the slushie cup is
placed underneath the chute.
Insert the power plug into a 230/240V power outlet
and switch on at the power outlet.
Using the citrus tray – juicing only
Select the small or large citrus cone. The large cone
sits on top of the small cone. For small fruit, such as
lemons and limes, use the small cone. For larger fruit,
such as oranges and grapefruits, use the large cone.
Place half of a citrus fruit onto the selected cone and
press down. Commence juicing by moving the ON/
OFF switch to the position and the cone will
rotate rapidly. Maintain pressure on the citrus half
until completely juiced. Remove the citrus half and
move the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
Remove the slushie cup and dispense juice into
serving glasses or use as required. The slushie cup
will take up to 2 cups of juice – do not overfill.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until all required fruit has been
juiced.

Commence ice shaving by moving the ON/OFF
switch to the position and the paddle and
cone will rotate rapidly.
When sufficient ice has been shaved, move the ON/
OFF switch to the OFF position.
Remove the slushie cup and dispense shaved ice
into suitable serving bowls, cups or glasses, or use
as required.
Repeat Steps 1 to 6 until sufficient ice has been
